Mills claimed by Minnesota (as per Reiss)

So long Garret, it was fun while it lasted, too bad you couldn't have cleared waivers.

It was fun while it lasted yet he never played a game?

He did alright in preseason, especially last year. I know preseason doesn't make a player but he did show promise and it quieted a lot of criticism on why the Pats drafted 2 TE's back to back last year.

My Binky done gone to Minnesota. Watch the bridges, Garrett.

I think he'll be cut again sometime. Nothing against him, but he needs to become a real fullback or he'll always be a victim of the numbers game.

I'm not talking about Sam Gash, just a decent lead blocker so he doesn't keep losing out to the Heath Evans of this world.

I don't like or dislike him, just an observation.

He needs to find the right offense to fit in. I'm not sure if Minnesota's offense is built to unitlize an H-back tweener type, honestly, I pay too little attention to the Vikings to know.

Either way, best of luck to Mills.

It actually is, or at least was before Childress got there.

They now have Richardson, whose more of a pure-FB.

But they also have Kleinsasser, Dugan, and they used to have Angulo and Richard Owens, all of whom are H-Back types like Mills.

We all questioned the move to draft Mills right after Thomas but I guess BB didn't forsee having Brady on the team the following year.

Childress's offense loves to use backs in pass patterns. Mills should do well there.
