Since Samuel being activated is 52nd spot...

I'm guessing either CB or OLB.

Let's get Chad Brown!!! Oh wait...

I'd have to say OLB. We're only carrying 8 LB total...That's seem low for a BB team, doesn't it?

Maybe some secondary help of course, but I'd like to see them bring in a DE.

How about an ILB were kind of thin as far as a real ILB goes.

The Chiefs just cut a pretty good looking CB. I forget his name. I'll have to look it up.

i don't see a NT. they aren't the best special teamers
if they do pick someone up, I'll go with lb.

Am I miscounting or are we at 53 now with two temp exemptions?

I hope it's a CB. I have no confidence in Tory James.

I'm going out on a limb here and predicting a trade of one of our WRs (actually I'm hoping they don't but will predict it) so that there are two slots on the 53 man roster once Samuel is activated.

They'll grab a CB/S and an LB

If my math is correct we're at 51. Once Samuel is activated that's 52 - meaning there's one slot right now - and again, I'm predicting a trade of a WR to free up another spot.

Yes, you're technically right, but I had actually counted Asante and Rodney into my 53 with two temporary exemptions - the Asante exemption being more temporary than Rodney's freed up slot.

What is Tory James getting?......$1.5M?

I can't believe they kept him over Dante Wesley.

Anyone else think we need another ROLB to back-up

Colvin and Woods?

we have a lot of safeties on the roster ... more than likely Rashaad Baker will go once Rodney comes back....

We have Wilson, Sanders, Mel Mitchell, Willie Andrews, Meriweather and Baker. I doubt we will have 7 safeties on the roster once Rodney comes back. And like I said, Baker will probably be the one to go.

Conjecture on position is nice, does anyone have specific names?

My guess is LB so I will say Edge Hartwell (as washed up as he is)...

Not easy to see what position..or who for that matter..If it's a player who will help immediately on the 45, that will make it harder as a player will have to be inactive instead. With a QB, 2 OL, 1 DL inactive as usual...there are 4 more needed. Wilson might be injured...as might a TE..but what about the other 2??
I think they kept spots open because of injuries and they wished to see who they needed; how bad the injuries are.
