Now, will someone please shovel some dirt on Don Creaky?

That has to have been the most woefully announced televised games Ive ever seen in preseason football.

Seriously, though. When the alzheimers sets in, its time to step down.

As washed up as Criqui is, I said some harsh things about Randy Cross after his woeful performance last week... in fairness, I thought Cross was excellent this week. Very solid and entertaining under difficult conditions (4th preseason game, a sub-par play by play man). I will say this about Criqui: in his prime he was as professional a broadcaster as they come, especially on radio. His work with Bob Trumpy back in the day was top notch. Not quite Jack Buck and Hank Stram, but still damn good.

Cross definitely was an improvement over his last outing, but Im afraid Criqui's best days are far behind him. That said, the overall production was better, but he still seemed to make gaffe after gaffe.

At least they got Gutierrez' name right.

Who's Mass Cassel? ;)

The only "good" part of the whole broadcast is that its over. Please, PLEASE, get a new team next year. Ones that will actually talk about the game!

That puts them ahead of the Giants radio team on 660 AM which is the only way I could get the game here in Philly. From Kelvin KNight instead of Kight to 18 different pronunciations of Gutierrez (one of them has to be right). Following the game on NFL.com play by play, you;d think it was two different games because they differed on almost everything (who rushed, who caught the ball, stats)......

count me as one who is not sold on Cassel. I dont think he looks all that good. maybe I am spoiled from seeing Brady for so long. I think Cassel looked better last Training camp too. I really hope we don't have to find out what he is made of.

amen....Cassel leaves alot to be desired....Happy feet.......tunnel vision......I know this is the backup QB and hopefully Tom will be here at least 7 more years so it shouldn't matter....but you like to feel like there is some confidence there....and it isn't.....I would rather see Vinny or even Gutz in there......One man's opinion
