Right now we are a the conclusion of the offseason and frankly we are doing much better than our recent history for keeping players healthy.
In fact Denver and Cinncinnati both have sufferred more losses to date whereas Indy and Baltimore have had similar misfortunes.
San Diego and the NYJs will carry significant injury losses into our first 2 games.

My point is that usually we have much worse injuries by this point in time.
Injured Reserve (which we are using less this year) (a frequent tool to stash talent) does deplete Cap space.
We have excellent reserves to come off the Pup should we experience attrition.

Lastly our offseason is not done... we can still expect to trade for future picks or to pick up a waiver guy ot two who suits our team needs.

Let the games begin.
We will witness something truly special this year.:D :D :rocker:

Dude, don't do this to us. We can see that things are good, but no one here wants to say it out in the open. Keep these thoughts to yourself.

Lalalalalaala La La I Caaaan't Heeearrr Youuuu!! La La La La

seriously...you just had to do it didn't you...?

Is there an emoticon somewhere for the anti-Dracula two-handed finger crossing gesture? Cause that's what I'm doing right now!

If anyone gets hurt we are coming for you

This thread is like a voodoo doll....Lets hope you didn't stick that pin in anyones ARM or LEG

Ignoring all the silly karma sh!t, I don't recall a lot of training camp/preseason injuries in the past. Things are OK right now but "thus far" is a very small sample of the upcoming season unfortunately.

Just what significant injuries are the Jets carrying into game 1?
--------------------------------------------------------------
New York Jets Status Date
Andre Dyson Probable Aug. 28
Comment: Dyson (leg) has returned to practice, though he isn't 100 percent yet, the New York Daily News reports.
Thomas Jones Questionable Aug. 28
Comment: Jones (calf) is moving much better and he's expected to play in the season opener against the Patriots, according to the New York Daily News.

Dude . . . injuries on a football team are like having sex in one regard:

If you're not getting any, DON'T TALK ABOUT IT! :enranged:

Dude, I was going to make a post in the 'worry' thread about what would happen if an unnamed player got (blank), and before I hit submit I was like, "no way am I going to throw that one out for the gods to chew on."

^^ that's seriously as close as I will get to saying it out loud.

and if you are, don't complain because people don't want to hear about it....
especially if they are in the other category.

Too many of us remember '89(?) when Tippett, Lippett and Varis all got hurt in the last pre-season/exhibition game. The OP ought to look up jinx in the dictionary.

Or he can just read some of Keegs posts. :enranged:

What is he talking about?? Seems to me we have been hit pretty hard already.

SEYMOUR hasn't played in a practice yet

Warren was banged up and hasn't played since (yes, I knopwhe is practicing).

We lost Scott.

We lost Richardson,

Davis was forced to retire.

Troy is pupped.

Moss hasn't practicded in a month.

Thomas breaks his foot and we are hoping like hell he can make it back.

Wilson is hurt (again).

K. Brady, just made it back.

Stallworth just made it back a game ago.

One Jackson is pupped and I think the other (E.J.) is headed for IR.

Hochstein is hurt.

Mike Wright has been hurt.

I think we have suffered our fair share no doubt about it.
