This kids last name should be Brady, are there any legal experts out there?

A child always takes the name of his father, unless the father is unknown.

Not a legal expert, but usually the person who has custody of the baby names him. I'm guessing the baby isn't going to be living with Tom Brady, and if she's raising the kid he should have her name.

Not a surprise for me either - and nothing any of US should be outraged about. That's a little bit weird if you ask me.

That being said I can't help but have a theory about her getting pregnant right at the time he was breaking up, as well as her desire to be back with him - giving the boy his last name might be something of an incentive in her mind.

From a football sense I can tell you its DAMN LUCKY for us ALL that they are not together and he's not in the same household as the baby. Sure they'd have a live in nanny but even with that there's no way people get a lot of sleep for in a household with a newborn.

Heck - our oldest is 3 years old and I think its been about that long since I've had a full night of sleep. Gotta think that would have an adverse impact on Brady's performance.

Then again, if Giselle's visiting, the guy's not getting a whole lot of sleep either.

Sure, let me try. Hell has no fury like a woman scorned! Bridget did not get the Brady name so neither will her/their child. She exploited her pregnancy to get her picture taken and get on E! every now and then - good move since her acting has not worked out too well for her. And now she is using the baby to get back at Tom for not loving her enough to marry her and then have the gaul to move on and upward with Gisele 'freakin' Bunchen! So, she kinda sorta but not really gave the baby some of his name but reversed it purposely to have the initials J E T !!!!

She knows alot about initials since hers are BM - guess we don't need an explanation for that one!

This is an obvious FU to Tommy from Bridget. He can alway send a big ole FU back by selling pictures of himself with Gisele and baby on hand for a Sunday walk in the park. I know Brady does not play that low, but he should.

He got jobbed by this girl big time! She plans the pregnancy, calls him out in the worst gossip rag in the World, moves to LA and now decides to not give their son his last name.

Fact is EVEN if she did not trap him, she is still just as responsible for the baby as he is. He does not have to marry a woman he does not love and all the facts point to him not knowing about the baby at the time of the breakup.

She is bitter since she is not Gisele Bundchen and Tom moved on and move up. Sad story all around.

This kid is going to have issues when he sees all his step brothers and sisters are Brady's and he is a Moynahan. Sad, sad, sad!!!!
