LMAO. I have to admit its very entertaining though. Espeacially all the Randy Moss paranoia going on.

What? What Randy Moss paranoia??? Who's paranoid??? What's wrong with Moss now??? What's the issue??? Can't people pose legitimate questions???;)

it's funny, almost everybody characterized the moss acquisition as a "luxury", yet there seems to be an awful lot of concern about him either not being ready for week one or not able to play at all. while i would be disappointed not to see what he and brady hooking up might be like, i still believe he's a luxury we don't need to win.

Let's face it folks. There's going to be some key pieces of this team who don't make it to January. There always are. But this remains the deepest team in the NFL. There is no justification for concern of any kind.

I'm worried about the worrying about the worrying. :)

I have to admit I am guilty of starting to worry a little bit myself. I think it stems from the fact that I, along with many of the other worriers as well, felt like Seymour and Moss were just being held out until the third preseason game for precautionary reasons but now that we're just 12 days from the first game and there's still no sign of either at practice, that's the reason for our concern. Just want to be hitting on all cylinders when the season starts. I'm sure they will both be back if not for the Jets game sometime shortly after. But we've been waiting since April to see what Brady/Moss can do together. I'm sick of waiting.

If Wall Street ... they say ... "climbs a wall of worry"
then why shouldn't NFL dynasties have to do the same?

This is equivalent to buying a brand new Lamborghini and locking it in the garage for the first few weeks of ownership. It's a new toy, and you want nothing more than to try it.

I know. They look so nice wrapped around a tree! Just ask Lance Briggs!

Yes......... I am terrified about the worry I feel about worrying about worry. There, I said it....... Happy now.

Relax have beer (even if it's 2:40 on a Tuesday) and enjoy the day.

OK. Fair 'nuff. But, I live in New York City and, ever since my neighbors from Boston moved out of my building I have no other place to discuss my anxieties about The Team That I Love than this board. The guys I work with are either stiffs who don't care about football or, and this is the real hard part, Jets Fans!

But, I promise to try to worry less out here...once I'm sure about the health of Seymour and Moss and did you really think Maroney looked 100% against the Panthers and that wasn't a limp I detected on Rodney's last play was it and didn't some of TB's passes float just a little too much like maybe his shoulder is bad and what about Gostkowski he hasn't made a FG from outside 36 yards this preseason and when will we be sure that Belichick will for sure be back next year and...:) :) :)

i am worried that polian and co. will pass a rule that no team can win the superbowl more the 3 times in a decade.

i thought they already had when they gave us that schedule to open the season in 2005...

That looks pretty real to me.

My main worry today is if I can play 18 holes of golf without my back giving me problems. I've had to lay off for a month when I hurt it again. I was not at practice but avoided being PUP'ed so far.

... all of this worrying that is going on?

Not really. This is a good time of the year for worrying.

The roster is about to be cut down, the last preseason game is upon us, the real games start in less then two weeks.

All of a sudden time is no longer on your side, wait and see is now turning to "put up or shut-up". After tommorow night the points count and everyone is playing for keeps.

There is a certian amout of tension waiting to see if this whole rig can fly for real. That is inevitably going to lead to some worry.

... all of this worrying that is going on?

Might as well put all my confessions into a single thread, I am guilty of being nervous about...
  • Moss - Maybe he practices next week, rumor has it he is 'day to day' and 'will be ready soon' but when he does come back the real bullets will be flying, hopefully his booboo doesn't linger throughout the year
  • Seymour - almost no way he can be ready to play in week 2 against SD (when we really need him). It takes some extra time for those big guys to be game ready. Too bad I thought the Jets game and the SD play-off games were his worst two performances last year, I would have loved to see him extract his revenge on both Pennington and Rivers... If he can't play it is a bad matchup for the Pats McNeil versus Green

Thats it other than that I think we are ready to go. College football starts tomorrow, sweet!
