Oh No!!! What's Wrong With Sammy Morris!!!

Our Rb Situation Is Too Thin!?? Blahdiddy, Blah, Blah!

Thanks, my friend. Obviously you haven't been reading Mr. Belichicks comments that long.

I think the last player he said was real close is just getting comfortable with his artificial limb.:D

lol... I do remember the Chad Jackson fiasco last season. However I think the reason Chad didn't play was because of his inexperience and immaturity, to go along with his injury. Who knows with BBs comments, but at the same time I think this dispells the speculation about PUP, etc. Moss will be back by opening day.

Is this like being day to day?

Is your name a take off on Gladiator nickname, "Ice Ice Baby"?

Actually it is a lame knock off of the Vanilla Ice song. But I like it... evokes images of cold weather, plus we all know who is ice in the clutch.

Welcome aboard, Ice. Thanks for bringing an actually grounded, legit thread to the site.

Doh. I guess you can tell I'm not a rap fan. That's probably where (American Gladiator) Ice got her nickname too.

This kind of comment by BB is generally quickly followed by an announcement that that player has been IR'd.

I see nothing good about this.

The only question I have is: Is BB more candid on the radio show? If he is, then it might be good news...

Cool screen name bro.

I think folks are always taking a chance when they choose player screen names.

I like Kyle Brady and all hope he's going to play a big role for the Patriots this year, but he is injured, getting older and I just question how much longer he's going to be with the Patriots and in the league.

Quite frankly, this guy's going to look pretty stupid once Kyle retires and he's stuck with that screen name.

Hi guys,

Been on this site for awhile, but this is my first post, and fortunately I am the bearer of good news.

Everyone...breathe... it's a long season.

at least he didn't say he's "day to day." that's the real kiss of death. just like Maroney "had the wind knocked out of him" last year...

anyway, welcome to the board. i think you'll find that most of us manage to keep our sense of humor about this stuff...most of the time...

I couldn't be more confident of the fact that Moss will be starting game one.

If he was going through some kind of season threatening serious situation, I just have a hard time believing he'd be hob-nobbing and whooping it up at the gala last night, signing autographs...etc.

I will guarantee he will be back at practice the week before game #1.

Just a strong gut feeling I have about this. Or bad clams I ate last night.

Either way....a strong gut feeling!

Q: You mentioned yesterday on the radio that Randy Moss was closer. Do you think he’ll be ready by week one?
BB: He’s day-to-day.

as opposed to an esoteric fungal reference

A man on his deathbed would be 'close to returning' in the eyes of BB.
