Kyle Brady, Gaffney back at practice

I'm more worried about guys who have been out for at least a week at this point. Richardson may be seriously injured based on reports of him being bandaged up, but Wilson and Morris may not be and being held out for precautionary reasons.

I figured Moss would be back today. I was hoping Seymour would be on the field today too. If rumors of both being held out for precautionary reasons are true, this is around the time they should really start practicing to get ready for the Jets.

Reiss has been mentioning that Wilson pulled up lame during the long TD by the Panthers. He said he played on the extra point attempt, but never got back in the game. Maybe he tweaked something, hopefully it wasn't anything serious and the training staff is just taking extra precautions since he has a recent history of injuries.

Gaffney would have to be in traction, I'd bet, to keep him off the field with the squeeze at WR and the cuts coming up.

Man,

Real disappointed Moss is not back yet. So much for a "slight" injury. It's been how many weeks now?

I figured if they were being overly cautious, Moss would be back today.

Now I'm starting to think we may not see him week 1.

Very disappointing.

In a way, it is. But I would rather him be out to week 3, 4, 5 then come back early and re-injure

I will admit it.....I'm am officially starting to worry about Moss:mad:

I agree 100%.

But I was just hoping that having him week 1 would not be considered rushing him back.

But it looks like it may be :(

as long as he practices next week, thats whats important why risk it this week when hes not playing this week anyway, they are just being cautiuos which is a good thing

Not concerned about Moss at all Brady and BB both commented how smart he is on the field and the film room he's such a natural athlete he can make the transition back to the field quicker then other players.
I'm on record to say he's gonna be there in the Meadowland week 1.
BB is just making Eric think do I have to prepare for Moss or not?
It use to drive coordinators and coaches crazy alike.
Since Moss proclaimed to be the player who was so dominate it's pry making the penguin wake up in hot and cold sweats, as he sees visions of Revis's confidence being crushed in one quick swoop as he's rubbing his shoulders promising him he's still the man no matter how many times he got MOSSED!

People drink the Koolaid it's delicious and say go PATS!

Both Reiss and Breer lists say nothing about the "real" Brady - Tom. From that can we conclude that his CA trip is over? I thought folks were saying he was going to fly back to CA right after the game and miss this week.

Any news on this?

Well Gaffney and Brady tie up 2 roster spots IMO, while Richardson is slated for either IR or PS. Prediction: Meriweather sees extended action at FS against NYG. Despite all the talent on the team, everyone has holes and the depth chart is looking thin at FS. Not much experience there. "Can I speak with Mr. Hawkins, please?"

Please, no.

Meriweather and Willie Andrews, assuming Geno's injury is serious.

I'd sit him next week too. Who cares about a stupid exhibition game? Let him be totally healthy when the season starts. I have a feeling Tom remembers him.

I know it's not their usual, but I bet they've installed a few "run as fast as you can and jump up in the air" plays.:rocker:

I think that's a leap. I'm not trying to be an a** or sound like BB when I say he's probably truly "day-to-day", as in, if there were a game, he could play. But as there's not, why risk it? We know how frustrating and persistent hammy problems can be.

I'm not and to be honest, if Moss is even hurt at all I'd be surprised. Everyone knows what Moss can do and BB needs to see as uch of Gaffney, Caldwell, Kight, etc as possible. BB has a tough decision to make at WR and seeing Moss catch balls in the preseason isn't going to do much to help him with that decision.

hes at practice, lesson to be learned, dont listen to media speculation, pro athletes dont take weeks off or extended days because of a baby birth, a couple days yes

That is just crazy talk, if Moss could practice then he would be on the field getting reps. I think BB is more concerned about how his franchise QB and #1 WR look than evaluating his 7th option at receiver.

They are likely being overly careful with Moss but hamstrings are trickly. Him not being on the field can't be considered good news now matter how delusional you are.

There is no need for the Pats to rush Moss back. I mean, I guess getting timing together with Brady, etc... but if they want to make ABSOLUTE sure that Moss's hammy is okay, fine with me. See you in the Meadowlands, Randy.
