51 man roster

The last two postions could come off another team. They could be because of an injury situation. As someone poste in another thread, the "real" roster is 51, with others coming in and out ebcause of injury situaions.

I do not have Rogers or Gaffney on my 51-man roster.
I also don't have Richardson or Thomas.
Any of these four could be on the final 53.

A lot to like, it is a deep roster and talented roster.Without injuries the starters would look something like.

Offense - 3 WR set
QB - Brady
WR - Moss, Stallworth, Welker
TE- Watson
OLine- Light, Mankins, Koppen, Neal, Kaczur

Defense
DLine - Seymour, Wilfork, Warren (I get pumped up just typing down their names, this group could be awesome this year)
LB - Colvin, Bruschi, Thomas, Vrabel)
CB - Samuel, Hobbs
S - Harrison, Wilson

Each unit has 1-2 players that can provide 'quality' depth. This has not been the case in the past.

Not much to disagree with there. I think Rogers and Gaffney round out the 53. If Gaffney looks like he’ll be out for a good portion of the season, I think they IR him and sign him to an extension (they did that with someone else in the past year or so (maybe Mitchell or Scott?)).

Brown, Jackson and Thomas go to PUP.

Richardson to IR or PS.

Lua and Gutierez (sp?) to PS.

I'd really rather have Vinny on the shadow roster and only carry 2 QBs. It's risky, but I'd do it.

Let's hope not. If they have 4 on the PUP, that means Seymour is on there (along with Brown, Jackson and Thomas).
