I don't know if this deserves it's own thread, but oh well.

Can I get some love for Sammy Morris?

He looked like one excellent acquisition last night.

Great job.

I thought he had an excellent game, looked confident in the 3rd down faulk role (catching passes between the hash marks) bu it was his aggressive running that impressed me most.

Watching Addai last year (as opposed to Maroney) made me realise the value of a RB pumping his legs through contact and falling forward its worth 2-5 yards most times.

it was good that they deprived the defense of Faulk. Not only did he get to rest after what he did last week, but it gave Morris more reps and forced Brady to spread the ball around to other targets he may be less comfortable with at this point. Instead of simply dumping the ball off to Faulk, other guys like Stallworth and Welker got more action. It'll be good come the regular season if Brady is deprived of Troy Brown for the first six games. It will force chemistry to develop between Brady and the newer options.

he will contribute probably more then i expected

a good game against CAR; no doubt

well done !

I had no idea this guy was as good as he looked last night. I know it's only a game 3 preseason game, but I wasn't all geeked up on the aquistion until Friday night. I mean, he ran for 123 yards against the Pats, but I needed some reassurance and Friday night gave me that. Wow!

You guys must have a major boner about Heath Evans' running then.

I went to the Patriots game at Miami last year and he sure looked good in that one.

I agree that he looked good. However, while I couln't watch the previous two games, I heard that he didin't look as good. Let's see how he looks midway thru the season.
