I think you have a little too much man love for the little White guy.
Sorry, you all are gonna hate, but i believe Welker is going to be the best off-season pick up of the past year. His speed and sharpness, even if only in pre-season, looks impressive.
I would put Moss above Welker. Welker is a good receiver and a good returner but its not like we had mediocre returners last year. Kevin Faulk was a pretty solid PR. With Moss we are getting a true #1 receiver which we haven't had for a while. And Moss was a great steal for a 4th round pick.1. Adalius

I absolutely love Welker, and I believe he'll be a huge factor on our team. But, I think Thomas was a bigger acquisition. Without Thomas, our LB core is very questionable.
True but if someone wants to refer to the Linebackers as the central part of the defense, it would the core of the defense.Okay we don't have a LB core. There's not a
Corps, corps, corps.

Not to disparage Welker - who along with AD will bridge us into the next dynasty - but if Welker went into this season with the same deep threat (or lack thereof) that the team had last year, there's no point in being excited with him leading the teams in catches.
Caldwell had 61 last year - a pretty darn good year overall statistically - but no matter what the stats about our offense told us, our eyeballs knew that Defenses had no respect for our deep game, were stacking the line, and hindering the running game, double teaming Watson, and putting all kinds of hits and pressure on Brady.
The stats will not show it but Moss and Stallworth are the most significant additions for the offense.
