Mr. Gostkowski:

(1) Your kickoffs OWN. More touchbacks would be nice, but I'm not complaining.

(2) You just need to get the kicks between the uprights and over the crossbar. Your kicks don't need to be 50 feet high. :)

That is all.

I didn't want to be the one to say it but I have some concern here. He has kicked a few out of bounds, missed a few including the weird spot in his range around the 30-40 during camp and preseason. He has certainly shown his strong leg and I don't think the concern should be to big.

Miller isn't the holder anymore, this may not be about Ghost entirely.

Message board coaches - I hope the kid doesn't lurk here.

Miller wasn't the holder down the stretch last year either.

man if he had the aim that SOB would have been good from 70 yards

I presume he knows what he needs to work on. I'm just sayin' it so that I don't try to throw things through my TV set if he does miss. :)

After all, Gostkowski is one of my favorite Patriots (see my sig).

If he had had two kicks blocked like the Panthers, people would be overanalyzing that as well.....I think he will be alright.

Gostkwoski has been a little sketchy OVERALL, but he's improving and anyone using tonight's game on its own as a reason to be worried seems to be overthinking, IMO. The kid missed two FGs. One he should've made, one that was 52 yards. Do I wish he'd made both of those misses? Sure. Am I really worried? Not really. And his kickoffs are killer.

He'll improve, this O will be scoring in droves anyway. I'm not worried.

I'm semi concerned hearing about all this second year jinx stuff I hope he fixes it quick.

It's just the preseason jitters. He'll be OK.

We DO need
something to worry about !

I am getting a little concerned too. However, I don't think it was the jitters, I think he just missed. Just be glad we have so many offensive weapons, we may not be in need of many game winning FG's this year. :)

Hopefully we only need him for point-afters, anyway.

if thats what happens with preseason jitters what happens with regular season jitters, playoff jitters, or last second super bowl jitters?

again I am only minorly concerned just thought the preseason jitters was a funny comment.

well it is just the preseason?
maybe if he feels some urgency he'll concentrate better on his kicks.
Too soon to make anything out of this imo.

If you're gonna miss 'em, nows the time! He'll be fine.

Last year people panicked about a couple of blocks. This season, it's a couple of misses from a very missable range.

I guess some people just need something to complain about on a top 3 team.

Hey, while you're at it, I hear the waterboy was slow in bringing Brady his drinks....

BB probably has to be patient a little longer with Gostkowski to keep

him from losing his confidence. If Gostkowski misses a couple of easy ones

next week; however, I would not be surprised to see auditions going on

at Gillette.
