WOW. That's all I can say. The o-line dominated the Panthers VERY GOOD D-line. The receivers were getting open. And we didn't even have Moss playing. Laurence Maroney ran very well. As did Heath Evans.

Marcellus Rivers and Garrett Mills blocked VERY well tonight.

The Top defense, without Warren and Seymour, was downright scary tonight. Its almost unfair how well they played tonight.

man I wish I could of watched the game, its all good though ill be able to start watchin week 1 when we rip the jets apart.

Marcellus Rivers was very impressive as a receiver. I thought the Pats were looking for someone to take some reps with Thomas out, but maybe we've found a player.

If you think we look scary now, just wait until January ;)

Rivers does look good... And the Pats could leave Thomas on the PUP...Or there could be a trade....

DaBruinz gets into the game, but he really isn't exaggerating at all

OL zone blocking, ****ing and pulling looked a lot different with Kool-Aid holding the rock--Maroney consistently looked like he was tip-toeing and shifting ever so slightly...and then getting tackled...4...5...7 yds from the line of scrimmage...the blocking scheme just makes it all so vague...that 39 could really break it..any time...he gets the ball...

defense

wow

i love steve smith's game--and rodney PLASTERED him...and they both walked away JACKED...

this is going to be a special season

they now look like a football team.

Fungi - Until this point, I've held my enthusiasm in check about this season... But its very hard to do when the Pats looked that good tonight...

dude--that was something impressive for a tuneup

96--52--37--97

damn man...no 93 or 94...

27 and 36 and 31 were active too

i'm just overcome with the quality of depth that this team has

I don't think it's an exaggeration to call this squad better than any of the Super Bowl teams.

And we still are without our best cornerback. Times are good for Pats fans :)

I can only agree with all you guys, this teams looks sick, Pats dominated tonite and they did it wihtout some of their key guys, seymore warren and moss I just cant wait till the sept 9th !:rocker:

Randall Gay is a player....nice position play
at CB.....good tackler...looks more comfortable at FS,than Sanders does.

Agree, Gay looks really solid.

Pats won handily, despite a few sloppy plays, and without Seymour, Warren, Moss and Samuel. Awesome.

Maybe that's because Sanders doesn't play FS.

Good point. Watching the game (on network TV tonight in PA --- yesss!!!) my impression was that Maroney didn't run especially well. I still sort of think that, since he averaged less than 3.9 yards per carry. Yet it's like Fungi says, it didn't look like there was much of a hole, but by the time everyone falls forward, there could be a 4 or 6 yard gain.

Yes, that was a GREAT play! Late, Merriweather also laid on a great hit (again, on a ball that was caught).

this is going to be a special season

. .. ... ....

I watched the game with a Panther fan.

Very good showing.

Brady had all day in the pocket.

Runblocking looked good.

Defense looked good.

I think Thomas was looking very good inside tonight as well. Looks like he is starting to pick this up.

You better be talking about trading Rivers.

we have still yet to see all the parts at once but it sure seemed to come together today. time to start stringing them together week to week.

Maybe that's because Sanders doesn't play FS.

do you actually watch the game?

Sanders moved from SS to FS,when Wilson
was taken out.He was then replaced by Gay at FS......because Sanders' sucks at FS.

....got it?

That's great and all, but the original point still stands.
