Funny, how the press never even acknowledged they blew that Giselle's birthday/Bridgette giving birth story line. Depending on where you looked one of those two women were being skewered as vindictive biatch in that story.

The ironic thing is that it could be the fans who are the ones spurned if Tom is in California for Friday night's game instead of in North Carolina.

Either way, good luck Tom with the impending birth if that is why you are not around.

Wow! That is dedication. Five hours to see a preseason game. I have trouble being motivated with the 45 minutes (assuming there isn't much traffic) it takes me to get to Gillette for a home preseason game.

i think everyone should let brady have his baby in peace, the media should leave it alone and stop asking questions to him about fatherhood, he doesnt need to talk to anyone except his family and friends, people have babys all the time , pro athletes have babys all the time we normally dont hear about and i think for the majority of us none cares, the same logic should be applied to tom brady

To be completely honest, I could care less if Tom plays in a meaningless preseason game, especially since it just opens up more chances for him to get injured before the season starts.

Since I've been a father my son is only 14 months I kinda hope this brings him back with Bridgette as much as me and my sons mother fight, i'd hate to not be able to see my son whenever i wanted.

I think it matters somewhat. In the third preseason game Brady usually plays three qtrs so this is as close to the real thing as it gets. If he's out for Friday then he'll perhaps go three qtrs against the Giants but two of them will be against second and third stringers.

Carolina is worth the trip - great stadium (situated in uptown Charlotte), plenty of Pats fans around, cheap tickets, plenty of great tailgating spots...plus the drive down 85 South is easy (not a toll-fest like heading up northbound 95).

I agree, although it would be nice for the franchise to get some live game reps. in with his new receiver corp, so they wont be out of synk when they open against the Jets.

I doubt it. They arent going to make him or the 1st unit play in the last game for any amount of time. He will be fine without risking it.
