There figures to be a few more trades around the end of the month when rosters are cutdown. Teams may be willing to give up a 6th or 7th rather than taking their chances with the waiver process.

I have been looking at RB but TE could also be an option. Add your names to the list.

On the other side our 6th and 7th WRs could potentially be traded, similar to Gorin from last year. Conditional picks if the players makes the squad.

RB names to watch

Most of these guys are stiffs but we may need more depth at the position.

Baltimore - Anderson and Musa Smith, pretty much the same player I don't know if they can keep both
NY Giants - Reuben Droughns - Outside shot, real long shot he gets cut but I read some noise that he is being pushed by a younger backup).

Cardinals

Jags
Greg Jones (wishful thinking) - http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6814

Panthers - Eric Shelton - http://www.nfl.com/players/profile?id=00-0023489

Vikings

Does Duce Staley have anything left?

Pittsburgh

Dallas - Julius Jones? doesn't seem like a good fit but is an ok player

LB
SD is very deep, if Waters or Siler are released maybe we could try them on our PS

I've always liked Mewelde Moore. But I'm not sure if he's just a Kevin Faulk type.

The Pats will be cutting plenty of good players themselves, not picking any up.

Overall yes, but at a few positions (like ILB and maybe RB) there could be a better player cut than we would otherwise keep.

Some of the Giant backup running backs looked pretty good, maybe with the injuries they had at WR a trade could make sense.

I would not be suprised as DL such a low point in so many teams we can trade a DL backup for a solid pick this year.

Exactly. And many teams are watching and waiting for this to happen as the Pats have solid DLs, WRs, and maybe OLs that they won't be able to carry.

Here's hoping no one goes to our AFC East friends.

JULIUS JONES is not getting cut. If he does, and the Pats have any shot at him, they would snatch him up, stat.

Agreed. If he ever came available, and the team had the opportunity, he'd be a great addition. Unfortunately, this is very wishful thinking . . .

Would anyone really care if we have to face the likes of Rashad Moore, LeKevin Smith, Britt or Kelly Washington twice a year?

If BB and SP think other roster areas can be improved then we may see a pickup or two. It just means a few late round picks, street free agents, UDFAs and binkies get shoved out the door.

Ha! Good point, and it's just that I hate the thought of anyone being developed by the Pats for either the Jets or the Phins. And it's the DL where I think the Jets will focus if they go for a late preseason pickup.
