The final roster spots will be greatly affected by injuries

We all seem to have the following on the PUP list
Brown, Thomas, Jackson, Jackson

Possible IR
Yates, Hochstein, Gaffney

Very Likely To Be Available
Kyle Brady

Already Out (on IR)
Scott
Hairsten

if yates was serious he would be ir already, you are way pemature with gaffney and hockstien , football players often miss days or weeks because of minor injuires,if the were carted off i could see your point, but come on , do you think every player who is nicked or dinged is going to the ir?

The above are my injury concerns at the moment. Basically you are saying that I shouldn't worry. Perhaps you are correct. It is a slow day.

The player I am worrying the most about because of injury is Randy Moss. He hasn't practiced in a long time and I hope the injury isn't the kind of thing that will nag him throughout the whole season. I expect big things out of him and I would hate to see him dissapoint because he couldn't get healthy and missed out on the preparation time.

I share your worry, brother.

But we both gotta relax. Remember that this is structured as Randy's "showcase" season.
Big bux follow.

I don't imagine that the kind of injury that hobbled him in Oakland
is going to slow him down this year at all.
Consider his non-availability for preseason games to be
the macro counterpart to
always bringing up the rear in t/c sprints.

can you tell me why Gaffney would go on the IR?

Gaffney was hurt in Friday's game, as was Hochstein.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Gaffney came up gimpy (knee), limped though a few more plays in a "hurry up" situation and then got off the field under is own power. I'd hardly put him on IR until we at least know a touch more than that. If I was a beeting man, given that it was a knee and he still limped around for a play or two, I'd say it's nothing real serious, Perhaps a tweak, or a minor ligment. I'd be suprised if he wasn't ready for game 1. Shame though, cuz's he's been having a good camp so far.

Hoch's seemed a little more serious, but again, no way to tell.

As for Moss, I'm trying to be a touch more "relaxed" about it, but yeah, I'd be lying to say that I'm totally unconcerned. I'm sticking with the "Bill's just being overprotective with him (as he is with Sey and Kool-aid), so we ain't gonna see much of him the rest of TC". So far that's working about 75-80% of the time
