Will LeKevin make the final 53?

I have to admit i'm excited. Although i have no been able to see the pats play live, i have watched video clips and heard a lot. What i'm hearing is that LeKevin Smith has been playing solid and it looks like he has a good chance to make the final 53.

I am so proud of you LeKevin. You truly are the widowmaker.

He looked real good last night in spots....especially that sack where he was held the entire time (and no call). Even the commentators ( i think cross) said " if that's not a hold, then the rule doesn't exist"

He's a solid DE, decent NT. To be fair, he doesn't have extensive time at either position, but his improvement was evident and his energy was good last night. I'm betting that he'll be on the 53 for this season and have an opportunity to progress enough to be a contributing backup for the next few years. It remains to be seen what Kareem Brown brings to the team as well. Don't forget that there are two more preseason games, and jobs will be won or lost considering the quality of play in pre-season games 3 & 4. Not saying that only one of the two will stay, it's just that when you get past the top 5 DLs including Green & Wright, you don't have the luxury of keeping that many more. The fact that LeKevin played with the first unit last night and played well only serves to help him in the long run.

Is there enough room on the Le Kevin Smith Bandwagon for a reporter? I think he's going to make it. They've kept him around for a reason--I think they really like him. Not that this means anything at all, but he's also a really decent guy when it comes to dealing with the media--a good quote who ALWAYS has a smile on his face.
