Is it too early to be concerned about Seymour??

He has been MIA since Day 1 of camp, but I dont remember hearing any thing of the nature he had major offseason surgery???

hes often injured .. hes our 2nd best player and we need him healthy. why risk him in preseason? i think he'll be back next week slowly at TC and then play in the last PS game

Seymour is more important than Harrison..i know it sounds weird but i think our whole front 3 is

With Rodney- No playoff losses.
Without Rodney- The pats' only 2 playoff losses.
Seymour might be a better play, but Rodney is the MVP of the defense.

It is common knowledge to everyone even VAGUELY paying attention that the Patriots are babying Seymour because they trust him, as a vet, to come back and be ready for the regular season in time. They're being smart. There is literally NOTHING to even bother wondering about worrying about.

Of all the injured players, Seymour is one I'm worried the least about. The Patriots have held him out of preseason in the past. You know what he can do and he certainly knows the defense well so there isn't really a reason to play him when he has had some injury problems.

On a team that reveals nothing we know he played last season with a piece of furniture on his arm, had surgery on his knee and played on a bad ankle.

We have lots of DL to look at, why give yourself an aneurysm. Take a pill and get a good nights sleep.

How do you know this or can it be quantified?? Maybe in your opinion, Rodney did not make our Offense play poorly.. anything can be argued, but it is what it is football and stuff happens. The best team will win, despite any injuries.

Seymour is a very important part of this D, along with Harrison, Bruschi, Warren, Wilson, Gay etc. The sum is greater than any of its parts, these arguments might fare well in fantasy football, but here they have 0 credibility.

I think Sey's influence is underestimated slightly, because he doesn't appear to get in the action as often as one might expect. Then you review the tape and look at the number of times he is double teamed. He hustles all game and is still as aggressive in the fourth quarter. I would worry a lot if he was missing for a season.
