I got man love for Rodney

I'm feeling it as well. Always respected him when @ SD(thought was a little dirty) BUt as time spent here in Foxboro have grown to love him. What he has brought to the "D" when healthy is amazing.

Did you see that MONSTER hit he just put on Vince Young? He destroyed him, was unblocked the entire time. Rodney's still got it!!

Man I hope they replay that on ESPN tonight!!! Wish I could watch him play tonight, he seems to be taking his frustrations out on them for last year. :rocker:

My man love for Rodney is only surpassed by my man love for Papelbon.

If he and Brady stay healthy all year, I don't see how they don't finish with the best record in the league.

Rodney killed Vince Young

Since I've been prone to understatements over the past week, let me venture into that territory again: Rodney raises the level of play of every player on his team. This guy is smart, tough, and inspirational. It's such a pleasure to watch a defense when he's on the field. Amazing that in a team game that one defensive player can have such an influence, but he does!

That being said, there isn't another safety currently in the league that I would have in place of #37.

I have the man love for Rodney, and have ever since I read about his hit on Troy Brown on the opening day of his first camp with the Pats. He's my favorite Pat ever, and he proves why over and over again every year.

Although his hit turned me on big time, I was excited about his tipped ball in coverage, I can't see a Safety running on most plays on TV but that was 20 yards or so downfield so I got the feeling he's running pretty well now almost 2 years off that brutal injury.

Yeah, he hit Young, but he pulled up some. He could have leveled him, but just "banged" him with his shoulder. That hit could have been a lot WORSE. Rodney is a class act, a great team player and is not a cheap shot artist.

KUDO TO RODNEY for his comeback.

I think Rodney should have put the Madden curse in effect on that play!

I don't think it is a coincidence that the three losses to Indy (2nd game injured in the first quarter)....Rodney didn't play. Even if he has lost a step (debateable).....he brings an attitude to the defense that is missed when not in there.

I Love him too:)
