Should we trade for Brian Moorman?

To me he seems like one of the best punters in the NFL. If we can pry him away from Buffalo for a 3rd or 2nd, I think we should do it.

Baugher is not the answer, and from the responses I've seen elsewhere, bringing Walter back doesn't sound too good.

Trade for Moorman!

Frickin' moron. No we shouldn't. Crawl back into your hole, please.

Thats a little harsh B-F, but I do agree. You don't trade a 2nd or a 3rd round pick for a punter unless you are getting a Ray Guy-type.

BB will give Baughter a shot and will sign a veteran off the street if things get dicey.

Sure. We can trade him for you. I'm sure Ralph would fall for it.

This is two asinine threads in a row now.

I'd like to keep our stock of first day picks for next year (I think 5 of them). I'll be damned if they're spent on a punter.

Dude, are you on drugs?
What do you know about the punting situation that BB and SP don't?

PS Now you are giving us a bad name with these dufus threads

How in the world can you know Baugher won't work out? You don't like his name or something? And who gives up a second round pick for a punter? I'd make the kicker punt before I gave up a 2nd.

I don't think it's over-the-top harsh for the insanity/trolling B.S. being spewed here. God help this guy if he actually just randomly is SURE that "Baugher is not the answer." Why? Based on what?

LOL which is why it's not harsh. 'Ain't no way Belichick is trading a day one pick for a punter - especially a #2 or #3.

Not to nitpick, but if Belichick were to trade for a day one pick, why would it be especially unlikely to be a #2 or #3? The only other option is #1...

Yeah, I know, I just realized that :bricks:

Regardless, it's not happening :)

(A) Why is Baugher not the answer?
(B) Belichick would (re-)sign Ken Walter before he traded a 3rd for a punter.

Hey mods--can we start merging these cr*ptacular threads if he keeps up?

This is the kind of thread that makes me long for the days when PatsFans was not on the favorites list of every band wagon wanker. Remember the old format. Back in the day this place really was an incredible source of info without the trolls and dumbed down threads (Keegs/Aqua)

It's a bit early to say that Baugher's not going to be able to get it done.
