Who will make it and WHAT will it depend on.
I really think this is going to be tougher than any other year to predict..BUT will it depend on who they see as a developmental player OR as a player needed for a thins roster spot or (as I think) a combination of both.
For instance, I think if they keep 2 QBs, Gutierrez will definitely be on the PSquad (or another QB). And certainly a few O Lineman will be there (as always.) But in reading threads, I have seen possibilities of 3 DBs, maybe 2 DL and ?? There doesn't seem to be enough room for all.
I do think it will be a combination of position need and true developmental players...but who?? I do not think it's an easy task when there are 20 or so on the team that could be on it...and with some justification.
I do hold hope that if Bam doesn't make the 53, he'll be on the PSqd, 3rd year..as I think they are grooming him to be a player.

I picked these eight after last week's game.

Practice - Lua, Mills, Hilliard, Childress, Oldenburg, Mays, Richardson, Gutierrez

Kight and Patrick are also possibilities

It is interesting because after the players are cut they are free agents and can sign on the practice squad they choose. We may see some players bolt for a weaker team (hoping for a better chance to break through) and we should see the Patriots pick up 1-2 players from other teams (keep your eye on a TE or RB)

Im going with Mike Elgin on the practice squad. I say Mills makes the team or is cut..

Can Mays be on the PS after being activated last year? I also think Richardson makes the team on ST. I'd replace those two with Bissinger (I'm holding out hope for him as a project) and either Kight or C.J. Jones.

If he was signed late enough in the season, then yes; other people know the numbers better than I do (for that matter, can Mills go on the practice squad?).

I assume Mills can b/c he's a second-yr guy without accrued games. I think.

Thank goodness BB has us to help him out with all this. I'm sure he's checking this post for advice right now.
