What is up with Seymour?

I know he starts every season on the PUP for some reason.

Anyone know what is giong on with him?

Re: Seymour injury???

Well, he had surgery during the offseason, so that's more than likely the reason why.

Re: Seymour injury???

I think I speak for the majority of posters on this board when I say:

1) KEEP UP with what has happened in the off-season.

2) STOP SCARING US with B.S. thread titles like this.

Thanks.

Re: Seymour injury???

how dare you ask that question?

how dare you ask that question?

No. How dare he start a thread title that way, since it implied (albeit inadvertantly) that Seymour had some new, other injury. Gave me a heart attack.

ohhh.. i guess it is how you read it.

I thought he was asking about why Seymour wasn't playing and what his current status was.

Re: Seymour injury???

It seemed to me to be some new thing thay maybe he'd heard rumors of. No harm, no foul, just my blood pressure rising for a moment. We still love you, sarge.

Re: Seymour injury???

God i hope Seymour doesn't get injured anymore.

I feel like we are talking about this crap every year.

serenity now, insanity later :)

Re: Seymour injury???

WOW,

Sorry for the confusion.

Seriously, I put the ??? marks in the title specifically so I wouldn't scare anybody.

Looking back though I can see why it would have scared you. Probably would have gotten me as well.

Somehow I missed that he had surgery.

Trust me, I live and breath Patriots football, but I also have a 60+ hour a week job (salary of course, so no overtime pay).

Re: Seymour injury???

You know what? We'll know what is wrong with 93 either when he turns up on the sidelines in week one having had his left leg amputated or when he writes his book in 2011. In the meantime I suggest you worry about things we know about.

Re: Seymour injury???

Calm down, guys. I didn't take the thread title to be anything more than a question as to what the status of Seymour's pre-existing injury is, i.e. why he is on PUP and hasn't been participating in practice.

Let's not be so twitchy that we attack one of our fellow posters over something so innocent.

No prob. I'm sure I'd be further along if I, ya know, "worked" and all that.

I missed that he had surgery. I apologized for the thread title.

I purposely put the ??? marks so people would realize if was a question.

Dude, if it gets you this riled up even after that, I think you need to reevalute your priorities in life. And I'm not kidding.

Get over it. If you can't, then you need help. Actually, a lot of help. Seriously, no joking at all!

"Seymour status???" didn't scare me into thinking he got hurt more, but then again, I haven't had any coffee today.:) Besides, if he did it would have to have been a rug burn or paper cut. :) Seriously, I think overall on the injury front the team is in great shape, with just precautionary hold outs, and minor tweaks.

The original thread title was Seymour Injury???

Someone changed it (thanks by the way whoever that was).

I had put the question marks in thinking that people would realize it was a question.

Looking back I can see where it would be confusing. I didn't put a whole lot of thought into it when I wrote it.

I apologized, but of course you never know who you are dealing with on internet message boards. Most are ok with it. Some (danny boy) feel that this was such a serious offense that the apology was not enough to overcome the pain and suffering that title has caused in their life. Those people (and there families) have my deepest sympathy!
