so can someone please tell me how LeKevin played?

Can't tell you a whole lot, but he made a great play forcing a fumble from the Tampa running back, causing a turnover for the Pats D.

that's good to hear. I looked at the box score on nfl.com but that's all i have. There's also 300 post game threads that i would have to search through that probably have nothing on lekevin. maybe ill try a search.

Yup was Meriweather missing that tackle. Watching the play live I saw him read the play way before it began to develop it was pretty impressive and then whiffed mightily on the tackle.

The fact is that Meriweather shot by his blockers and broke cleanly into the backfield and when there tackled two arms full of air and ate some dirt - however, Meriweather broke up the play and forced the action right into the waiting arms of your Le Kevin Smith who threw the ball carrier to the ground with an impressive display of ferociousness and strength. Easily was the defensive gem of the day!

yeah i have no problem with the missed tackle. From the replay it looks like a hell of a play and you are right, he did break it up.

I just hope next time he makes the tackle.

There's plenty of video of Ed Reed busting up plays like that, he just makes the tackles. It'd be sweet if Meriweather ended up that good.
