WINNERS
Gaffney, Harrison, Gay, Kaycur, Gutierrez and Rogers.

LOSERS
Mills, Mays

Cassel was a winner too.

*And I think Richardson made some nice plays, defending the long pass and in run support.

Losers:

Anam, Kranchick

Mills was a LOSER? I didn't see it, but from what folks said, and have been saying post-game, that seems really frantically extreme.

WINNERS??? The team LOST!! We are in serious T-rouble. FYI.

Mills had one catch but it was a good one.

And I would also like to add Faulk as a winner. That guy is so under appreciated. That one play where he reached down to catch a ball that was at his knees without even breaking stride was really something. You can tell Tom really trusts him (as does Belichick.)

Faulk is always a winner, and deserved the game ball. But there was nothing really on the line for him, and nothing for us to find out.

Had been hoping that someone like Mays could step up and be our latest late draft pick find, but he looked confused and slow to react. This is his second year, and difficult to see them keeping him unless he does something really different soon.

I wonder why BB kept James Sanders out of action. I couldn't see the game, but I recall hearing that he wasn't on the field, unless someone can correct me. Same for Pierre Woods.

I'd ask the same about Artrell Hawkins, but then I remembered that I don't give a frig where he was. He could permanently forget how to get to Gillette Stadium altogether and I wouldn't be too broken up about it.(And yes, I know he was among the leaders in ST's tackles, but I think we might be ok in that department without him.)

Why the Hawk hate?

I liked hearing Mel Mitchell's name. As well as Bam.

I don't know how you can call Gutierrez a winner. He put up some of the worst passes I've ever seen. They looked more like punts than passes.

I thought the biggest winner was Justin Rodgers.

Not sure even Hawkins and Woods were there, from Mike Reiss:

The Patriots are in the middle of their warmups. Here is a list of players we haven't spotted:

WR Donte Stallworth
S Artrell Hawkins
RB Laurence Maroney
ILB Eric Alexander
ILB Junior Seau
OLB Pierre Woods
OL Billy Yates
WR Randy Moss
TE Benjamin Watson
TE Kyle Brady

Tuned in this morning precisely to see this thread.
Good start, Mark!

Too many distractions while viewing to have many observations myself.
(Visiting family wrenching away the remote to toggle to Sox, etc.)

Funny how any game action
eclipses what we think we know from camp exercises.

Sammy Morris looked decent ,also.A good pickup,methinks....

as you may read, many of us are calling Gut a 'winner' based upon his pocket presence and decision making.

Yes his throws were pennington-esque at times, but the kid is young and was undrafted--all things considered, he is a winner for not looking lost and for having a good deal of upside.

They can't all be #12...

Add Washington in there as a winner too....and you missed one of the biggest losers of last night....could cost him a roster spot......L. Anam......

FWIW, I think Gutz played really well in his first playing time in the NFL......while I am still not sold on Cassel being able to get it done.....

good point....Kevin made some exceptional plays last night....

does anyone here think that Kight turned the wrong way on that endzone corner route? the announcers were lambasting Cassel, but I think that Moss, Gaffney, Caldwell, Welker, Watson, Vrabel, Stallworth, Brown and a few others would have made that catch
