I'm not talking about win or lose but about the cheap shot artists that populate the Titans roster. I'm sure we all remember the game in December last year: Rodney getting hurt, the late cheap shots and piling on, Bruschi admitting in his book how pissed off he was at their players and coaches. Now I would want to see the Titans get the crap beat out of them but I do worry about losing a starter to some cut block by Mawae et al or a late hit on Brady. It might be a good game for BB to see what kind of toughness this year's Pats have but I still would like guys with any hint of an injury to sit this one out (and I am going to the game, the whole "getting your money's worth" for preseason arguement has never flown with me. It's been this way forever and they actually used to have 6 preseason games back in the 70s). It'll be interesting to hear Rodney and Bruschi's comments this week about the Titans.

I was thinking the same thing, I wonder if Belichick would hold out some of our key players since the titans dirty play...

You can worry if it makes you feel better, but it accomplishes nothing. BB, the coaches, and holdovers from 2006 know who the Titans are; they may go so far as to ponder returning some of the dirt so liberally spread during that game. As BB himself has said, worrying about injury is wasteful; players get hurt because football is a violent sport, but you can't predict an injury so the best way to prevent one is to prepare your body and mind to play the game. This game gave the back half of the Training Camp roster a great deal of work. The next two games are the ones BB will use to fine tune his starters to help them get their game reactions/speed/face back. Our worry just gives us ulcers and hair loss, and provides no help for the team. Bring on Tennesse, let's see them play their cheap shot game in preseason at Gillette - odds are they play it straight because they also have to focus on preparing the team for the regular season.

After what happened last year I can't believe they scheduled this game. But, yeah, if a few Titans limp of the field, that's good with me.

I'd love to see Rodney "clock' Bobby Wade, if he is still with Titans.
