I'm very excited. Been to training camp but the first pre-season game really marks the beginning of football season for me.

I don't care if the starters only play a series or two. I'll watch every play from start to finish. Hell, I even had a grin on my face last night for the start of the figgin Colts vs the friggin Cowboys.

Anyone else excited about tonight? Or, do you not want pre-season games?

It will be fun watching the bottom portion of our roster as they fight for spots. We're deep.

you have to be excited!! First game?? you have to be..it ALL has started..the reason I was at opening day of camp and other days there.

I'm trying to contain myself a bit. But yeah, I'm pretty friggen jazzed. No TV coverage here though (friggen Bills). I did sit down last night with a few Beers and watch the Indy game. It was just nice to be watching football.

Someone here better LIVE BLOG this game tonight, it's the only way I'll get to follow it.

I'm jacked. I won't get to see it live, but I already have an appointment with NFL network tomorrow afternoon. I've got it DVRing as well, for playback and analyzation.

My wife calls the preseason "my low point."

Couldn't sleep last night just thinking about seeing our team on the field again! I'm with you Nut, even attending camp, as fun as that is, doesn't start the season for me until I see them banging different colored shirts! It'll be a long wait till tonight!

First-time poster here! I really wish I was in Boston tonight so I could watch the game on TV. I do have the AudioPass package from NFL.com, so at least I can listen to Gil and Gino. Luckilly, I'll be at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte in 2 weeks to see the PATS decimate the Panthers! Let's just hope everyone makes it through the month healthy and ready to go in New York on Septmeber 9th. Super Bowl XLII, here we come! :rocker:

Welcome to the board.

I'm excited about tonight, but on 9/9 I'll be a nervous wreck leading up to the game.

Very excited over here, get to wake up at 7:30 AM and watch some Pats!

finally some football!! I have my Bruschi jersey and my 2 yr old daughter's Brady jersey layed out on the bed, waiting for us to get home :)

I'd be more excited if I could watch the game here in Baltimore. I'll just have to follow it on NFL.com's gamecenter.

I'll catch the replay on NFLN, will watch all the plays to see how the roster is going to fill out.:D

I am so excited I barely slept last night...except I just found out that there is a forecast of rain for the game...which could make things slippery and increase the chance for injury.

Me. I enjoy the preseason without fear.

I was excited but then I remembered how every year I get excited for the draft and it is always a big let down. So I am trying to stay at an even keel (but inside I am very excited!)

That's the only fun of a preseason game... seeing the guys at the bottom of the roster, from the ones you hope make it, to the ones you hope you never have to see on the field during a real game.

Click on the Home link at the top of this page, then from the home page select "Interactive" then "Chat room". One of our esteemed members is quite adept at posting live play by play faster than NFL.com's Gamecenter updates. There's also usually a game thread in the forum that fills up with real time comments pretty fast, but if I remember correctly, during non-televised preseason games, the chat room is usually where the best action is at.

I will be traveling from Jacksonville down to Tampa for a family weekend getaway at Busch Gardens (Ybor city is another trip). So unfortunately I won't be able to watch the game as I will be in transit. Couldn't get the time off of work to go down early.

THIS SUCKS! I can't beleive I will be in the same city as the Pats and not be able to go to the game! You know there will be tickets available.

I'm bummed that I won't be able to watch any of this one. I think the Carolina game will be the only one I will catch. DAMN YOU NFL NETWORK and TIME WARNER! But I will be heading down to San Diego to see their preseason game against the Seahawks... taking the wife to her first ever NFL game and hoping she catches the fever.
