Re: Jets Safety Eric Smith with apparent serious knee injury today

Our former secondary coach and defensive coordinator seems to have carried whatever injury disease strikes the Pats secondary every year to the Jets.

Re: Jets Safety Eric Smith with apparent serious knee injury today

Maybe Mangini was the curse on our DB's being injured?

Re: Jets Safety Eric Smith with apparent serious knee injury today

Definitely NOT what they need. I got some nasty flashbacks reading the Jets fans' fears that they'll actually have to play Hank Poteat.

And, meanwhile, Revis sits at home... :D

Re: Jets Safety Eric Smith with apparent serious knee injury today

Tangini is blowing the season by not having signed Revis. To win the AFCE the Jets must improve. Instead, Revis will be clueless especially at the season's start, right when they face the Pats Juggernaught. They'll have lost a year of production. Additional injuries which invariably happen only weaken them further. That being said, it's hard to see the Jets finishing behind the Phins or the Bills.

I assume you mean Juggernaut. ;)

A Juggernaught would be the Titans' WR corps right about now. :D

That noise you hear is the collective groan coming from the former Poteat Bandwagon as we pull the knife outta our backs.

:(

*snif* Long Live the Bongos.

My respect for Hank is such that i deem him the only Jet
able to shut down WHICHEVER of Randy ... Donte ... or Wes
that he wants to!

Keep it up, Chad scott will not be the last of your players to go down, Karma, Karma, Karma, keep celebrating.

Wow if you think this is celebrating you haven't been around long, or ever gone to a jets forum.

that's fantastic.

Maybe you shouldn't be wishing injuries on other team's QBs when yours just finally finished his first full healthy season.

Doesn't matter - We always get injuries and lots of them. We have tried Karma, instant Karma, wishful thinking, rain dances, séances - all of it and no matter what we get more than our share.

That's OK , we suck it up and win anyway, is the mark of a champion and a dynasty, course you would not know that.

Pass the potato salad please...

Suck it up and win anyway? Last year, nope, year before nope. Looks like Belly can't do it without Romeo, Charlie and Mangini. Probably the reason the patriots went Danny Snyder this year.

Hey Coles You need to think about a few things.

1. Bellichick is the best coach in the nfl right now period.
2. Mangini is just a clone trying to do what BB did but u know what with no Brady or Seymour, the jets have no chance of sniffing the playoff's and in less than 3 years they will run mangina out of town.
3. The Pats have done nothing but improve theres not one position you can say was weakened during the offseason.
4. Smith would be a critical loss for the jets to endure with Mr Money Man Revis who you mortgaged all your draft picks for to even sniff the field!
You may try to argue the same about samuel but when and if he comes back he'll only need a little time to get the system down again.
5. You have taken in our castoff's like a homeless man digging in the trash to decor his home.
6. All the defensive ends you brought in this year our either over the hill or b fringe players at best that couldn't sniff second string compared to our d line.
7. You guys were incredibly lucky on the injury front last year chances are it won't happen again.
8. The only player on the jets that could start for the patriots is Kerry Rhodes and by the way he'd have to move to free safety next to Mr Harrison who badly wants to win it all for his buddy Jr.
9. God I hate the Jets and I live in PA.

This might be the year Shawn Kemp, I mean Tom Brady snaps a leg.

Wow, that's a good one. How original. Did you come up with that one all by yourself or did you have help with that one? Probably dying to use it one day, and today was your day. Bravo man!
