Hello Folks! I took a break to recharge my batteries(a sure sign of age) but am now raring and ready to go for another season. While Preseason is still long remember many of Us still remember when there were 6 Preseason Games! The Pats looked primed and ready to go but I see a couple of areas where We should keep an eye on.Fisrt ,I'm not sold on the Offensive Tackles against "Speed Rushers".I worry that the loss of Daniel Graham will hurt Us here.My next area is our age at Linebacker.I know experience matters but this position has become more of a speed position. It's not a major concern just an area to watch.Third is the Cornerback Situation. If Asante Samuels is back then my concern wanes but right now this position is a red flag.
We have less concerns than most fans but these are the areas that I target. Any thoughts?
Happy Football Season Guys !

If you didn't already know Kyle Brady is considered by most to be the BEST blocking TE in the NFL for the past few years,As long as Kyle gets the offense in his head and he is helthy we will be saying Daniel who? by season's end - He is the PERFECT replacement for Graham.

LB area is a concern if ANY of the starters go on IR,IMO depth is of HUGE concern with injury we cannot afford at this position.

I am confident Merriweather and Hobbs can fill in fine at CB if Asante is still a whining jerk come the regular season.

Good post. Let's hope Brady comes back healthy, as he's going to make Graham a memory.

The LBs will be great if they stay healthy. They are the most experienced collection of players in the NFL, and there are enough of them to run a decent rotation during the game.

Regarding the DBs, couldn't have said it better!

The concern surrounding Kyle Brady in for Daniel Graham is not the protecting #12 aspect, but rather the loss of Graham's ability to keep the defense guessing. Since Graham was a force in the run-game AND as a pass-receiver (a force in the passing game relative to Kyle Brady, that is), it does make it slightly less...guess-work-ish for the D. But as far as blocking - run or pass - this is either a wash or an upgrade.
