Simeon Rice is released by Bucs. Who eats him up? Hopefully not the Colts.

Florio predicts that the Raiders will release Warren Sapp
...among many other 30-somethings.

Dungy can reconstitute the entire core of his great old D !

That Florio guy's a sharp fellow. I wonder if Sapp would retire. He's turning 35 this year.

One of them will be a Colt and my money says Rice.

Rice does have more in the tank, but then they would have Freeney, Mathis, and Rice at defensive end. Who moves to tackle? or do they rotate them all at defensive end? At least with Sapp, he is a genuine dt.

why would Colts need Rice? He refused to take a paycut. Obviously he'll have to wherever he signs but i dont see Colts paying anymore than 2 mill per year for him since they just overpaid Freeney and Mathis played better than Freeney last year

let them get both, its not going to help with the ***** whippin were gonna put on them!:rocker:

I was told by a source that Rice failed a physical for the Bucs. If the Colts sign him, then I'd be shocked. If they sign him, the Colts are signing wasted goods, or the same medical team that is working for the Philadelphia Phillies organization is working for the Colts organization as well. Truthfully, I hear Rice's career is virtually over. Not sure if true, but that is what I was told.

schefter recently confirms that he did fail a physical

I would like Rice but preferably Stir Fried or Pilaf

Booger McFarland recently lazed himself out of the Buc organization only to earn a ring with the Colts. At worst he'd be good camp fodder for them.

There's also the possibility that Rice's DL coach at Tampa, Rod Marinelli, might fly him up to Detroit for a look-see.

I like my rice beef- or pork-fried, thank you.

I do like that country chedder from Rice-A-Roni.
Their cheese offerings work quite well in a rice cooker, as long as your not hung up on browned vermicelli. Throw in a couple handfuls of frozen broccoli or other suitable veggie and life is good for lazy gourmets.

That works very well with real brown rice and real wild rice too. (White rice is poison!!!!!!!!! Rice-a-Roni is like lacing your poison with poison. Arrrrghhhh)

What the hell was this thread about?
