sorry that this is not solely patriots related, but it really annoys me.
i know the salary cap can be complicating, but after a few years in madden franchise, i really start to struggle with the cap. i dont usually sign the top free agents, and i dont think i'm spending much, then i go over the cap.
i also hate how expensive the rookies are to sign.

any advice??
 
Well do you often get early first rounders? Also it depends what position...WRs, CBs always ask for a lot.

no. i'd understand if they were top 10 picks, but even at the bottom of the round, they are paid way more than in real life.

Do you have next gen Madden or for reg Xbox/Ps2? Cuz in Next Gen the cap is really easy. I usually can keep a strong team because every year the cap space is suddenly at 50 mill.

after a few seasons, i get very close to the cap. thinking of it now, the same happens in real life, i just get frustrated when i cant re-sign one of my players. the main thing that annoys me is how much the rookies are paid.
