I've never understood the obsession with him. His shtick is negativity. I don't enjoy negativity, so I don't listen to/read him.

People who expose themselves to him and then get all angry annoy me. You know what you get going in, so anyone who gets angry must be looking to get angry. What's the point?

You make a very good point. Shame on WEEI for lowering itself to putting this jerk on the air. He disgraced himself professionally, and soils all that he touches.

I find Borges amusing on the radio, but for the wrong reasons. He hides his agenda far less on the radio and he is an entertaining bafoon (I think I've been called that myself) when he tries to disparage Belichick and use some of the most convoluted logic to support it. When the Pats do something good, it is the player. When they do something wrong, it is Belichick. His new schtick of trashing the fans directly is pretty comical too.
