Fox sports Fantasy predictions for week 1

They have Caldwell as WR #3 rather than Welker?

They have Stallworth as the #3.
It's funny how TB is going to throw for 2 TDs, but no one on the list is supposed to catch them.

And Gostkowski kicks 3 XP...

And Gostkowski kicks 3 XP...

2 passing TDs + 1 rushing TD.

But it gets even better:

* 3 TDs = 18 pts
* 3 XP = 3 pts
* 1 FG = 3 pts
Pats total = 26 pts

Therefore . . . SAFETY!

And, of course, I'm assuming that the TDs were grabbed by some combination of David Thomas, Wes Welker, and/or Mike Vrabel. :D

They have Caldwell as WR #3 rather than Welker?

They account for 19 of 20 JET receptions, only 13 of NE's 18 - my guess would be somebody's pet lab snagged the other 5...

Sounds like they consider Reche the 5th WR.

"Caldwell is the last option in this offense, as shown in Week 1. Expect more of the same."

Our slot receiver isn't going to be the last option in a Brady led offense.

Maroney didn't crack 100 and Faulk only managed 15. That means Morris and Evans racked up almost 180 yards? :rocker:

Well it is a fantasy matchup.

Also, Mike Nugent's predicted stats show 1 XP and 2 FGs.........but the Jets predicted score is 16 points. Hmmmmmmmm. Maybe Nugent gets hurt in the 2nd half and the Jets waterboy subs for him and kicks a late game FG.

The first and only time I'll ever check out these half-arsed predictions............

Mentions Heath and Faulk but no Morris?

Morris may have a bigger game than Maroney and more carries if Maroney is still not 100% at that time.

Was Welker omitted or did I miss that?Seems he would be be a good fantasy bet
if used as a punt returner as well as slot reciever....

Brady threw 2 TDs, but none to Moss, Stallworth, Faulk, Watson, Maroney, Caldwell. Guess Welker had a big day - but not enough yards to warrant an appearance on the stat-sheet. Still and all, always fun to look at.

They have Caldwell as WR #3 rather than Welker?

They have him listed with 0 receptions for 5 recieving yrds.

Thats good!

Aside: Am I missing something here?

The Pats o-line gave up 2 sacks as well, which does not seem all that likely :cool:

NE offense usually starts off slow and grinds through Sep and Oct.

So 17-10 Pats is my prediction but with zero TOs. Their D can't handle Watson and Welker. Brady completes 20 and 5 go to LMo.
