My patriots wall calendar sucks!

So today when I arrived in my office I turned the next page of my Patriots wall calender to July. You know which player was featured? DEION BRANCH!

I bought this in early January 2007. Branch was gone in September 2006. I can understand Dan Graham being featured. He didn't leave until March 2007. They do make these months in advance. But,BRANCH!!:enranged:

Does anyone else have the calender? If so, do you feel ripped off. I folded the photo and pinned it closed so I'm still looking at the June Tedy Bru photo.

Deion's not that bad but the fact that he's on the 2007-2008 calendar is beyond me. Possibly they made the calendar before Branch got traded and didnt fix it.

Daniel Graham is on there too. I think last years have Willie M. on it.

I have a Dolphins calendar and right now I'm looking at a picture of Travis Daniels' first career interception which happened opening day of 2005. That just tells you how far behind these calendars are.

Yes, I have the same John F. Turner one.

Last year's had Ted Johnson.

I have the same calendar and noticed the same thing today!

It could be worse, you could have the Adam Vinatieri Super Bowl winning kick playing on your bottle opener every time you open a beer. Now every time I open a beer I have to hear that and it makes me need another beer!!!

That is understandable. Graham did not leave via FA until 2007. But BRANCH!

That would be fine too, since Willie didn't leave until March 2006. The 2006 calendar would have come out in December 2005, at the latest.

But the 2006 calendar did have Ted Johnson, and he retired in July 2005.

Hmm...calendars for the coming year generally hit store shelves in September. Before that they have to be designed, laid out, sent to the (usually overseas) printing plant, a proof produced and approved, then a mass print run completed and shipped to the central U.S. facility for distribution to retail outlets. I'm guessing any personnel changes that happen after May aren't going to make it.

Any chance you can turn the Branch page into a bulletin board?

But good points. I didn't realize that they started selling them so early. I would have guessed in November. But they do have to decided on the layout and who to feature and get them printed. So yes, I can see where they are doing this at mid-summer.

Guess I'm not so angry now.

But, Branch will still be used for darts.

Ah, you must be a better dart player than me then. I need the precision of poking in those sharp little thumbtacks.

I guess I sympathize with the calendar folks because I've had a publisher push me to deliver a manuscript in July to make sure the book would hit bookstores by the following February!

lol. I got the calendar as a Christmas present from my brother so even though Branch is on it, I still love my Pats calendar!
