On the NFL trail this week, our paths crossed with Solomon Wilcots of Sirius NFL Radio and the NFL Network. Some leftovers specific to the Patriots:

What is the perception of the Patriots from a national perspective?
"No one wants to talk Patriots, and I think it's because three Super Bowls in six years gets boring."
Despite this fairly typical opening from Solomon, he seems to offer more praise than is normal for him.

I listed to Sirius NFL radio all the time and its rare when a Pats fans calls in. The commentators basically say that Pats fans dont call in because they have nothing to complain about (which is the basis for talk radio).

Pats fans also have other outlets with WEEI, which focus on boston sports...so there's no reason to listen to sirius. Mabey they should get WEEI on Sirius!

I thought WEEI was "all-Red-Sox-all-the-time"? I listen to Sirius, and I actually hear quite a few Patriot fans calling in. Plus, guys like Reiss, Breer, etc. are on quite a bit too.
