I just received an email verification that I received pre-game field passes and standing room tickets for the Pats vs Chargers game. I did this via my Visa credit card rewards program (NFL extra points). Has anyone done this experience through Visa before? Also how long before the game should I find a standing room ticket to get a good view. I've never been to the razor before since I live in Pennsylvania. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

That sounds like a great experience. You do have a bit of a problem though. To get good views from the SRO areas, you need to get to your spot about an hour before gametime and not move, unless you are in a group and you take turns making runs for beer, etc.

However, it sounds as if you'll be on the field at that time. Obviously you do not want to give THAT up.

Do you know when you will have to leave the field area?

I would recommend roaming the stadium until you find a suitable area to stand. The best place, IMO, is to stand on the ramps on either side of the scoreboard in the endzone where the banners are. However, take what you can get and keep an eye out as openings are created.

Its going to be tough to get a SRO spot an hour before the game as that is when you have to be getting to the area to go on the field to watch warmups.
SRO spaces get taken very quickly so I think you are are going to have a hard time getting a clear one after using the field pass.

I held my points for years and finally this year was able to spring for lower bowl tickets with a field pass. Hoping to get the Cleveland game no school the next day for my son and no work for me as its Columbus day.

Hope you enjoy the field passes and the game.

Whay part of Pa are you from.???

That was the one problem that I was worried about also, being able to watch the warmups and still have time to find a place to stand. Originally when I ordered this the ad was a bit deceiving and I thought you were getting to watch warmups and the game from the sidelines.

Thanks for the advice! I didn't realize that they had an experience with lower bowl tickets.

I live in Tyrone, PA. It is between Altoona and State College. Where are you from Sean?

Mapquest says 8 hours for me, so on a bad day it will probably be around 10. Anyone have reccomendations on hotels close to the stadium that won't be booked already?

Just out of curiousity, when did you order the passes..? I am so tantalizing close to having enough points for season tickets, but I figure it's too late to get them for this season :(

I looked it up since I wasn't exactly sure myself and I placed my order on January 8 2007. I waited until the day when the date/times were released for this year's schedule. It then took them three weeks to call me to confirm my order. Then about a month ago they called and asked me my preference of the top 3 games I would want to see. Then I received an email about a week ago that I received a field pass and tickets to the chargers game (my first choice).
