Not sure if this has already been posted; if so, I apologize.

This is NOT a roster prediction. Based on pure emotion, name three players on the bubble - or not - whom you'd like to see make the squad (final 53 or PS).

Offense: Justise Hairston (nice CCSU/Pioli link)/ Defense: Oscar Lua (coming off a disappointing sr. yr)/ ST: Bam-Bam (hardest working man in show biz)

Lua and Chad Jackson

Antwain Spann - I watched him in NFLE fight his way into the starting line-up, he made the Practice Squad and yo-yo'ed on and off the roster as a Gunner, then he made that great play sacrificing his body to knock the SD PR off his muff so Dave Thomas could make the recovery. I just love underdogs who put up a fight.

Bam Childress - another underdog who does whatever you need.

Jake Nordin - reading about his career at Northern Illinois he just strikes me as an over-achiever who could be a nice fit for the Pats with Watson and Thomas.

I don't know if Spann has Practice Squad eligibility, but I'm expecting Bam to make the squad again and I'd like to see Jake make the Squad.

C.jackson, Lua,we need youth in that area, and I like his attitude. And Childress You Can't Keep Him Down, and He Has Shown In A Limited Amount Of Playing Time He Can Catch The Ball.

Hairston, the late round RB.(In case I misspelled his name)

Mike Richardson. We could use a quality sleeper CB.

I'd also like to see Lua make it here.

Bam's not going to have much opportunity, but I hope he makes it elsewhere if he doesn't make it here.

There are a LOT...so getting it down to 3 is a bit hard....
1---Kyle Bissinger..very athletic..a QB and then a LB..not one who has been coached a lot..but seems like a sponge wishing to learn all...wants to coach some day..a PSqd player who might make it in a year or so...
2---Mike Richardson...quiet yet he learns quick I think he may step up an dmake the squad this year
3---Brian Barthelmes--mean and nasty..and BIG..just what qualaties a lineman needs in the NFL and possibly a surprise on the 53.
4---Bam Childress--quiet and might be the next TBrown..able to play O and D and ST

Mills...he's going to be playing for somebody. It might as well be us.

My three:

Mills, Lua, Hairston

mills and lua, no need to root for chad jackson cause id be shocked if we were to let him go.

Randy Moss.

I'm really rooting for the OLB Justin Rogers. He's a Mike Vrabel clone who could develop into a very saavy player.

Mills and Lua here too...Mills I think could be dynamic a real weapon

After his wonderfully-clutch performance in the playoffs, i would say Jabar Gaffney, but he should have no problem.

Someone should start a "players you're rooting for to get cut" thread.

just an idea.....

All linebackers under age 29-30.

Mike Richardson.

Actually, I like Woods, but any young help at LB and CB and I won't complain.

Lua, Bissinger, Rogers: any young LB the Pats could develop this year would help out for when the current crew retires.

Either Rogers or Lua for LB depth going forward.

Gaffney or Caldwell (trade the other when someone loses a wr in the preseason) just to give Brady someone who knows the playbook and who he has a rapport with.

Quadtrine Hill, a fb who can catch and block out of the backfeild. I doubt there is room for him w/Mills at h-back and the glut of rb's including Evans. It is nice to dream though.

I agree completely. I'd love for both LB's to make it, I already am a Lua fan, he seems to have such personality. Would rather have Gaffney make it, but I think both make it and Washington is the odd man out, though I am hoping Washington makes it. I rather have Mills over Hill, I have a good feeling about Mills.
