Greatest post-patriot career?

With the sad news of Andruzzi, (one of my favorite O-lineman a few years back) being diagnosed with lymphoma, a guy I had virtually heard nothing since he left the patriots, I thought I would raise a question...

One thing I could say about the Patriots management even though it's been said over and over again, is that they have a great eye for what can make their "team" better. They push aside favoritism and egos to make room for total and complete chemistry. With that being said,How many people have left the patriots to go on to successful careers?

All these guys that the patriots release seem to be a.) asking to much money (givens,branch,..etc) b.) overplay their talent level c.) are past their prime...

The only real obivious one I could think of is Curtis Martin who went on to have, one hell of a career. But who else is there?

EDIT: Has to be Curtis Martin. He went from very good to great when he left here.

Nick went to the AFL all star game every year he played for the Pats. He merely got more more famous after the trade because he went to a winning two-time Super bowl club, that's all. He was much more than merely 'solid'. As a matter of fact he was traded in a one-star-for-many-players trade in which one of the many was a AFL All star LB as well.

Bramlett, the LB, wasn't in the same league as a talent, and the players involved in the trade made that obvious, as did his subsequent play and selection as a HOF player.

Irvin Fryar is a good one....

Say what you want about Curtis Martin, he was a great runningback. It does feel weird giving praise to a New York Jet.. Anyways, does anybody think he is boderline for the hall of fame? I'd put him in that "Jerome Bettis" category...

Cumar will absolutely will get HOF consideration. His positives: steadiness, longevity of career, career yardage total. Negatives: never won a Super Bowl, yards per carry and touchdowns per season stats are ordinary.

If you count more than the NFL, then Flutie is hands down the most successful, with all the records and championships he amassed in the CFL. If you're counting just NFL careers then I'd stick with Curtis Martin.
