So what was your fav offseason move. My was the first; AT. I think this is what the Pats were missing from last season (if we had had Rodney (and the hell he brings) or seau we would have won the SB,we would have stopped the colts). Now Bill is probably foaming at the mouth with all the crazy schemes he can create with a great player like AT added to the mix. Damm I can't wait to see em stick it to some teams this season.

now it is not like I don't like the WR we got, but as we know in NE brady is king and we scored enough points to win last year. The one great thing is that this offense should take alot of the pressure of the defense, they should be able to control the clock alot more.

What is gonna happen when someone trys to double team Moss or Donte.....bang lawrence breaks a run!!! you try come into the box.....bang Moss for 20. You cover the Deep threat and contain the run....bang wes gets a first down.

If Asante comes back we are equally stacked on defense. I don't know which is better the defense or the Offense. I am not sure which is more likely to reach there potential.

Now if this was any other team to get all these players I would be a bit skeptical, but the Pats are the real deal and if anyone acts up Rodney and the hell he brings with him might say something or Daddy teddy might do something. The pats don't over reach they play to the system and they are going to execute and I can't wait to see what happens.

My only regret is that I was unable to get tickets this season and I will not be whored by some pimp on stub hub.

At this point it has to be Thomas but if Moss turns out to be anything like he used to be in play and nothing like he used to be in attitude then he would be a huge steal.

Anthony Thomas was #1 on my priority list before the offseason started So how can I say anyone else. He is a perfect fit for the Pats' defense and is so versatile that Belichick and Pees and the defensive staff are probably working overtime come up with new and interesting ways to use him.

My sleeper pick is Welker. I think he fits the Pats offensive system better than any of the WRs we picked up this offseason. I think Belichick has watched him expose our defense so much that he has been thinking for a while now how to use him himself.

I think Moss, hands down. I really think people --even Pats' fans -- are underestimating his potential impact.

Moss' mere presence on the field -- similar to Bush in NO last year -- is going to open up the entire offense.

It might not end up reflected in the box score, bc I don't think Randy is going to have a statistically dominant season, but the threat of a healthy Moss is going to pay huge dividends for the entire offense.

Look for Watson and Welker to be the biggest beneficiaries.

Welker. He's going to be sick in this offense.

Who's this Anthony Thomas fellow? ;)

Seriously, though, I strongly suspect Belichick agrees with you--after all, Welker is the only one of the four new WRs who got any real job security.

If we go back to the Indy game, we could not get off the field and our guys wore down defensively. Based on this alone, AD has to be my pick with Merriweather coming in second, as both are "playmakers". But the additions of a whole new WR group is extremely significant and related to the above, we can keep the ball longer, have better weapons and more O versatility.

The revamping of the receiver corps I think was the biggest move. We were not prepared to lose Branch last year, and when he pulled his stunts, we had no choice but to dump him for the 1st rounder. With average guy like Caldwell and Gaffney, the defense could stack the box, leave most corners one on one with our wideouts and focus on stopping Watson and the run. Now, do you single or double cover Moss, Stallworth or both? If you leave one in single coverage, well, good luck and if you want to double team them both, well, Welker, Watson will get you by air or Maroney will get you on the ground. And if you do leave one in single coverage, I think Tom will get them the ball where the speedsters can do damage.

T.B.'s move on Ms. Bundchen.

It's tough to pick a "best" from this amazing offseason.

I'll say one thing, though. One NFL Network last night they had a thing on the Patriots' revamped WR. Of course, Moss and Stallworth were exciting. But they should one pass to Welker against us that he caught around the 3 yard line to show his toughness - he was hit as he caught it and 1/2 later hit again - by Rodney Harrison - and hung onto the ball. They also showed a little 6 yard gain for a first down where he got open vs. man to man coverage immediately with a little fake to the outside followed by a quick move inside for the catch. Welker wasn't our best offseason move but I think he'll end up being a damn good one.

Either Thomas, or Moss

It will be Moss though if he brings what his potential allows, and he is already looking like he actually cares about the team. Showing up to something voluntary is crazy for a guy like him! I think he will have a great season.
