Also a B.S. piece. I wonder when it was made, most likely last year. Fort Lauderdale gets warm but rarely into triple digits and I question the 101 degrees at the intro..

Last time it hit 101 in Ft. Lauderdale was July 1981, Randy was not in the league and it wasn't off-season...........

The hottest temperature ever recorded in South Florida was 101 degrees, on July 21, 1942, in West Palm Beach. On the same day, it reached 100 degrees in Miami.
Otherwise, the only other time the mercury swelled to 100 degrees in this region was on Aug. 4, 1944, in Fort Lauderdale, Molleda said.
The reason South Florida never experiences extreme heat: "It's our proximity to the ocean and the sea breezes, which tend to keep temperatures down," he said.
That being said I hope he does get his ring this year and everything turns out alright but this is a master puff piece....
