I hope that Belichick will stay forever (yeah right)... but if he does retire, or go to another team; Cowher is a pretty good backup plan.
why would Cowher leave Pittsburgh..a great organization..retire for a year then move onto another team

I don't want CHIN as a coach of this team
He was one of the reasons I hate Pittsburgh
Why does any coach do that..? It's part of the reality of the NFL... word is Cowher wasn't terribly happy with the way he was being treated in Pittsburgh. I've even heard that Jerry Jones' master plan is to have Wade Phillips for 2007 as a post-Parcells "buffer" before making a play for Cowher in 2008.why would Cowher leave Pittsburgh..a great organization..retire for a year then move onto another team
