Get in early, get a good spot, and don't step off of it until the end of the game (get your beer in advance, and pee in a cup if you have to). Once the good standing spots are gone, you can only see the back of peoples' heads.

IMO SRO Sucks big time, if the weather is bad lots of folks from in front of you now want to be in the same place you want to be.. lots of hassles, done it twice will have to think twice about doing it again. The only good thing about it is you are there.

Re: Ot: Sro

A couple of my friends have SRO season tickets. They prefer the 3rd level EZ view. It's one of the few area's where you're allowed to lean against the railing and, while you are high up, you do get a great view of the entire field.

If you're alone, try to strike up a relationship wi those around you. Then you can take turns going for beer runs, food, and bathroom breaks, and still have a spot when you return.

I love standing in the end opposite the lighthouse. To either side of the scoreboard there is a great place to lean on level 2 and 3. You can see the whole field and it is like watching from the endzone coach's camera.

Pee in a cup and get caught, I'd think you'd be tossed out and maybe not let in again. Pee careful.

Pee careful.

I see what you did there.

We just got SRO tickets for the Steelers in December, so the advice is appreciated by myself as well.

Just remember which cup is your beer.

I had SRO only tickets for a 2005 game against the Saints.

I got there early and got myself situated in the 'front row' of SRO on the lower level where the only people in front of me were sitting in seats.

Let me tell you, it is still VERY annoying. Everytime the crowd stood up I couldn't see a thing. It sucked.

For the second half I went to the upper level of the stadium. That was better but they didn't let us lean against the railings. There was a yellow line drawn that could not be crossed and was enforced by security guards. (according to another poster, this may have changed)

I would not do it again, and that was for a game against a weak NFC opponent. For the games like the Colts, the crowd will stand up MUCH more often and you will see NOTHING.

so if you do NOT have SRO tickets.....DO NOT GET THEM

if you already have SRO...the upper level of the stadium is your best bet

Yes, the wit never stops when you are Patjew.

Enjoy the game. Unfortunately I will not get to see one until December.
