An intriguing possibility from PFT. I'm just not sure if the idea of Green as a Falcon is better for us Patriots fans than the idea of Green as a Doofin:

FALCONS TO MAKE LATE RUN AT GREEN?

There's talk/speculation/conjecture/rumor in league circles that the Atlanta Falcons might make an eleventh-hour run at disgruntled Chiefs quarterback Trent Green, who is doing everything he can to get out of Kansas City.

The problem, of course, is that Green has his eyes set on Miami, where he most likely would be the starter for the 2007 season.

But the Falcons could provide the veteran with an opportunity to start for a couple of additional years, since there's really no one else who is in position to take the team over if a decision is made to part ways with Mike Vick.

I like it either way.

Atlanta plays SF this year, I just want them to have a viable QB (not Harrington) for that game. So I vote for Atlanta.

Last year Green was not a viable QB. He's been pretty good over his career, but if he is going to play the way he played last year then I pity the team he goes to.

I'd still take him, a year removed from that bad concussion, over Harrington.

I agree, and I'd much rather pity the Dolphins, there is so much about them to deserving of ridicule and pity, so I hope he goes there.

What planet did you come from? Last time i checked We have played you pretty freaking hard the last few years. Kinda funny how they are all "down years" for us and we still manage to come out and play you guys to the brink....

You're right. I guess we should pull for Green going to Atlanta. :D

So you don't consider 6-10 a down year as long as you beat the Patriots?

The Dolphins haven't been to the playoffs since 2001. I'd say they have had a whole lot of down years recently.

Great minds think alike. That was the first factor that came to mind. :rocker:

No i'm saying we have been sucking pretty bad recently yet we still seem to be able to play you guys pretty hard...

Yup, and really can't argue with either point because they're not mutually exclusive:
1. Miami has sucked for the last 5 years
2. Miami has played well against the Patriots during those years

I say give him to ATL......I like it when pennington is the best competition our team has to deal with at QB in our division

It's pretty sad if you judge the success of a team by a single regular season game every year. Phins are a dysfunctional, aging, and underperforming team. Who cares if they happen to save all their motivation for their home game against the Patriots. It still doesn't rescue another useless year.

That's not the impression given from your post. You place "down years" in quotation marks as if you don't necessarily share that opinion. Phins just flat out suck. Saban couldn't get out of that dysfunctional situation fast enough. Jets are real contenders for us. I just see a situationally good defence for you guys (situationally good against the Pats in Miami, that is.) :D

I hope he goes to Atlanta for two reasons. First it will mean Vick is in big f-in trouble, and second it will totally screw up Aquaboy's off season evaluation.

last place is last place i dont care who the doophins beat

I come from planet NFL, as distinct from whatever dimension you and AquaVelva4Ever come from.

Division games are always hard fought, any given team in any division. Houston plays Indy tough. They still suck, and so do you.

I said your team was pitiable and you just proved it. You are now reduced to bragging that you played a team to the brink before losing.

You sunk a long way from your glory years to brag about almost winning a game.

I hope you do get Green. He is done. The last good QB you had was Damon Huard and you were to dumb to keep him. Not that I'm complaining, with the draft picks you gave away for QBs since letting Huard go, you might be a decent team. If you drafted better than you did last month, with your master plan of building a team around a punt returner.
