Ricky Williams fails ANOTHER drug test

So many Pats fans were getting so excited about the possibility of picking him up if the Dolphins let him go, but I wasn't. I hate to say I told you so but...

Williams is completely unreliable and flaky. Pot is not like other drugs which are physically addictive so if Williams truly wanted to stop he would have. He doesn't want to play football. The only reason he came back is because he would have owed the Dolphins eight millions dollars. I didn't want anything to do with him and this just affirms that.

I have a bigger problem with the NFL than I do Ricky Williams. I hate how serious they consider marijuana to be, to me it's not that huge of a deal. Also keep in mind that he has social anxiety disorder so I'm sure the marijuana helps with that.

I knew something was fishy when the Dolphins drafted a running back in the 3rd round and the front office refused to adress the Ricky situation. I sort of knew something of this nature was coming.

Williams had trouble in New Orleans as well so he only had two or three really good years, but at his peak he was one of the best if not the best in the league.

Exactly right. I think that Ricky Williams trade was the downfall of this organization over the past 5 years. It cost us the farm in terms of picks, caused Wannsted to ignore the rest of the offense just banking on Ricky, and forced Fiedler into our starter for way too long. This team is still suffering from that deal. Sure he got us 3000 rushing yards and 30 TDs, but this team hasn't been to the playoffs since that trade. (We were in the playoffs the previous 5 seasons prior to the Williams trade.

I feel badly for the guy, he is/was an incredible talent and seems like a lost soul. First and foremost, he is a human being and he needs help to get his life back on track. Reminds me in some ways of Duane Thomas, ex of the Cowboys who was a great talent, had some issues and just faded away.

I hope he gets the help he needs and his life straitened out.................

I find it hard to feel bad for a guy who has now screwed up 5 times. At what point does he learn his lesson? I thought he was one test away from permanent banishment, I don't see Goodell letting him back in when he applies for reinstatement in September.

Aqua, the guy needs professional help, he has issues that need to be addressed. I'm sorry about the stuff he pulled that tore apart your team and I am sure you and other Dolphin fans along with the players were torked off at the guy and rightfully so, all I am saying is he has bigger fish to fry and as a person, he needs to get his life straitened out.

As you pointed out, he has screwed up five times; does that sound like the actions of someone who has their head screwed on strait?

He was an incredible talent and had a gift and threw it all away; something just isn't right there.

As far as what you said about them not making the playoffs after trading for him, they should have made it in BB's first year here, all they had to do was beat a beatable Patriots team the last game of the year and they failed, so there you go.............

Anyway, Miami should've won that game vs. the Pats. That pass interference call on Jamar Fletcher was a joke and Miami chocked an 11 point lead with 4 minutes to play.

Funny...your crying about a game which we owned you in in 2002. I wish I was there to see the look on your face. Unfortunately the Jets ended up taking the division but none the less, the Fins were owned. And you really think the Dolphags were headed to the Superbowl?

He brought it up. I was just stating my opinion about the game. Yeah the Fins blew it, but that call was a HUGE part of it. Chill out dude, you guys are all wound up WAY too tight. And yes, after that Denver game, Miami was tied for best record in the NFL and Fielder was actully playing good.
