The locker hasn't been cleaned out yet...but they did the same to Phifer's in 2005. I'm wondering if this relates to injured players? Is Barry Gardner's locker still there? Troy's should be... Who else was a Free Agent who ended the season with an injury to rehab?

Belichick invited Seau back to play with the team if he wants after his injury is recovered and if he decides not to retire.

do you have a link for this?

Belichick mentioned it either on the radio or somewhere a couple of weeks ago. Thought it was old news.

It's the first I've heard of it although I assumed it was the case. Belichick was clear about how much he enjoyed coaching Seau, Seau did a good job for us and we still have a need at ILB.

What is Seau's timetable for making a decision?

and It appears he is not needed in SD

Would be cool if true but I didn't hear that either. Sure you're not confusing that with what he said about Troy Brown? It sounds pretty similar.

His injury hurt us last season, and it happened right when he seemed to be really starting to roll. He could contribute again and I hope BB did offer him a spot. It would be another welcoming-type move for us too. :)
I didn't know it was done, either. Last I'd heard Seau hadn't been approached by any team,so this is indeed good news!

I want this guy back in a Pat's uni. I think Seau really wanted to come out of retirement to play for a contender last season and that's what he did. He played well and we need him again. He must know we need him?

He didn't exactly say he invited him back, but he did say they have stayed in touch with him and the intimation was they are interested if he is. Not quite as definitive as what he said about Troy (I see him with a role on this team), but they would obviously welcome Junior back under similar ground rules and compensation as last season if he says he's good to go and still wants that ring. The fact that he said what he did about how a player cannot fail here unless he really wants to sounds to me like he's sipping the koolaid and leaning in our direction and just waiting for Belioli to call with an offer slightly above veteran minimum. 'Bout the same dance Bingo is doing.

This is the perfect situation for Seau to come back. The Pats roster is more loaded than ever and they still need depth at LB. The only way it doesn't happen is if the Pats find someone else that can fill the role better than Seau.

went to seau's for the dela hoya fight and talked to junior. we told him we want him back as a pat. he said he would love to re-sign. noticed he had a big scar on his right forearm, but we didn't ask him about it. we figured it was from that nasty break.

His injury was healed by the time the playoffs began last year...he said it at the time and that it was a shame that if he hadn't been placed on IR, he would have been able to play.

Who knew at the time it would have healed so fast and we sure could have used him....

I would LOVE to see him back for this year. Quality depth welcome anytime.

No i remember distictly hearing it about Seau. I could have sworn several others on here new about it as well.
