Signing him would take the Patriots from one of the smallest receiving corps in the past couple of years to one of the largest. They'd be battling with Jacksonville for the title, with the exception of Welker.

I did not see that coming. He was an analyst at the draft he was asked if he thought the Panthers needed anymore receivers and he said that he didn't think so. Then they draft Jarrett (people make the comparison between him and Johnson) and suddenly he's cut. Tough break Keyshawn.

And he tried to act like he was happy about them drafting Jarrett. "I'M EXCITED!" He said over and over through a grimace of a chessy fake grin. I saw through that and laughed about it. Now I feel bad.

I would laugh my back side off if they sign keyshawn...being a copycat team would be undeniable!

I'm very happy with Moss, Stall, Wes, Cald, C-Jac and Gaf. Having Troy Brown would make it perfect.

Sad to see him get released.

He was so excited for Jarrett and was so anxious to work with him and make him into a great WR. Wonder what the reason for the release was. There wasn't even a rumor of the move, they aren't in cap problems and they don't have a veteran to fill his role.

Sorry Key.... maybe Oakland/Kiffin can bring you in to mask the Moss trade and work with Mike Williams.

it is really funny. Before every pick, he would say "well, I think they should take a wide receiver"...it was hilarious. Every time he was asked.

Caught me by surprise. I'm sure he'll land on his feet somewhere. Number One Pick. Great Career and three or four terrific seasons. Has a ring. From his demeanor on ESPN this weekend, he was definitely not planning on this.

I guess he never saw that coming. I watched him on NFL network as well. He was also asked a bunch of questions about the panthers, now he is gone.
