You're not exactly sure what condition it's in. It might be more trouble than it's worth. You have to keep it covered almost all the time. The parts are expensive. At the same time, it's a Ferrari and you're getting it at a discount, right? If you have the money and you always wanted a car like that, you have to make the deal."

Maybe the coach knew he didn't really need a sports car, knew the car might remain in the garage for long periods of time, knew his friends might make fun of him, knew his insurance might skyrocket, knew he'd probably regret it in the end ... and you know what? He did it, anyway.

Okay, about Moss. I think he will be on the best behavior possible. So, I really don't anticipate too many problems. However, I think he still needs some attention and needs to be kept happy. What happens when Maroney gets 25 carries, and Welker gets 10 looks, and Moss gets 4? I just don't see BB going out of his way to satisfy the high profile guys. That is not to say that Moss will be ignored. I am certain BB intends to make full use of Moss as much as possible. I DO think he has probably lost SOME speed and athletic ability, but I think he can still be effective. He might have some TO syndrome of "alligator arming" it if he is asked to go across the middle. And I do wonder how well he will like the cold, seeing as for his career in the NFL, he has either played in a dome or out west. That's actually a good stat to look up, how well he did in cold weather games like GB and Chicago. No doubt, it will be interesting to see how well the new offensive players and the Pats offense as a team performs this year.

That's actually a good stat to look up, how well he did in cold weather games like GB and Chicago. No doubt, it will be interesting to see how well the new offensive players and the Pats offense as a team performs this year.

Luckily for Moss, New England has switched to field turf before his arrival, so he should be able to maximize his speed on that surface. 4.29/4.30 timed 40 speed 2 weeks before the draft doesn't sound like he's lost much if any at all. For comparison Calvin Johnson "only" ran a 4.35 40.

He was basically trying to audition for teams to trade for him. One patriot official was there so it seemed to work.

You also have to remember, a ferrari will usually hold it's value as it gets older, and if you have to sell it, well... you just might get a ton of cash for it from some young coach, no matter what the millage says...
