With the acquisition of Moss et al., I wonder wat the OC is thinking right now?

Perhaps: someone pinch me
I better not screw this thing up

hes thinking more kiddy calls and simple plays

hes gonna go deep a lot with Moss-Stallworth

He won't screw it up.

He's probably thinking : "Thank God I don't have to coach with both hands tied behind my back this year".

Four tight end sets.

Just kidding.

Had a chance to speak with him on Draft Day.

Right now hes more focused on getting the guys into the system and worrying about what they need to know before TC.

He absolutely praised Reche and Jabar about how far they have come since last season and thinks they have taken a giant leap forward since last season.

also i think he is thinking: can anyoen in the divsion cover Randy and Stall?

Jets: nope..a rookie is their best option but wont work
Dolphins: Allen? Nope..
Bills:maybe..wait no..they let him go

Any chance he mentioned Chad Jackson ? :(

OK,
I'm probably going to regret this....

I almost miss NEM :)

ALMOST!!!!

I can hear the echo now...

"still no slants and play action!!!!"

NFL Network had some film breakdown on Moss tonight showing some of the ways to use him. A few of the plays were just him beating guys one-on-one, or even catching deep balls that shouldn't have been thrown to him because of double coverage.

The really interesting stuff was Moss lined up in the slot or in motion forcing a matchup against a nickle corner or linebacker who had absolutely no prayer of covering him on a slant pattern. This left Moss singled up against a deep centerfielder safety....a total mismatch.

Can you imagine the poor nickle corner trying to cover Moss on one play, Welker on the next? With Moss, it's everything you can do to keep behind him. With Welker, it's impossible to stay tight with his cuts.

I think the reason Belichick knows things will be fine with Moss is that Moss understands how defenses try to stop him and will enjoy the games that Belichick plays to make those defenses pay.

he's probably thinking...
HUMMM what nfl jobs are going to be open next year?
Cleveland... Quinn, Winslow, Braylon Edwards, good o-line...
