49ers: I really like the way that Mike Nolan is building this team. PWillie will be a big upgrade at ILB, and Staley is their LT of the future. And they get a #1 WR in Darrell Jackson for only a 4th rounder. That roster is so much better than it was two years ago.
Seahawks: So Deion Branch is worth a 1st rounder while Darrell Jackson is worth only a 4th rounder. And you trade him to a division rival? I bet Seahawks management is taking a lot of heat for this up there.
Cardinals: Some are saying Levi Brown was a reach, but the pick had to be made. Otherwise, Leinart would be killed playing behind two horrible OTs. Now they are set protecting his blindside, and are a legitimate contender to win a mediocre division.
Saints: Sean Payton really knows how to build a roster. Robert Meachem was a steal, and completes one of the NFLs best offenses.
Bills: I like the pick of Dwayne Wright to compliment Lynch. They could have used more depth on defense though.
Bengals: Leon Hall was an obvious pick, and Kenny Irons should make a great compliment to Rudi Johnson.
Cowboys: Jerry Jones actually got one right. Got Cleveland's first round pick in '08, while still getting the player they needed in Anthony Spencer.
Broncos: Shanahan finally is getting that he can't rely solely on Cleveland castoffs to build a D-line. But he was then back to his old tricks in taking turd Marcus Thomas.
Lions: Millen made the right move, he had to take Johnson. Gaines Adams just isn't worth the #2 pick.
Chiefs: Where's the O-line help?
Jets: Revis and Harris are two good building blocks, but they're still a year away from realistically challenging the Pats.
Redskins: Landry is a good player, but it just doesn't make sense pairing him up with Taylor. They are basically the same player, great talents but a little undisciplined. DL was a much bigger need than safety, so they should have drafted Anderson or Okoye.
Colts: Nice draft. Filled needs at WR, CB, DT, SS, and SLB. The only need they didn't fill was RB. The surprising move was trading into the second round to get Ugoh. It's clear that this was done with the intention of letting Tarik Glenn walk as a free agent next year, and having Ugoh step in as his replacement. He is a bit of a project, but has all the measurables to do it. Nice forsight on Polian's part.
