I mean the 2006 Cowboys. (Thanks for the correction) The spotlight was on the Cowboys all season long last year because of the addition of Terrell Owens. Now that the Pats have Randy Moss, the spotlight will be on him and the New England Patriots. This will be the story of the 2007 NFL season, the "re-loaded" New England Patriots. Whether people are a fan or not, the Pats will be the "team" to watch. September couldn't come any sooner.

It bodes well for us west coasters, we just got at least two more nationally televised games.

If you are talking about last years Cowboys team then you mean the 2006 Cowboys.

And they certianly got a lot of attention because of Owens and Parcells, but really the Cowboys always get a lot of attention. They are still veiwed as "America's team," as well as probably the most glamorous franchise, even though they haven't really been that since the 90s. The Tony Romo saga would not have been nearly as big as it was if it happen to the Jaguars or the Vikings.

But you are correct. There were ESPN and NFL Network correspondents at Foxboro today for Moss' conference call. When was the last time they came out for the aquisition of a player?

My bad. Thanks for the correction.
