I'm still gonna go with the colts here, because gonzales will fit thier system so well.

The lions could be incredible if Calvin Johnson lives up to the hype, furry as a number 3 wr is pretty good as well. It's all about potential for them.

Cardinals are solid as well as cincy.

Who knows when it's all said and done the Pats may have the best.
They probably are the deepest, It just seems to be to good to be true.

Moss
Stallworth
Jackson
Washington
Welker
Brown
Maybe Caldwell or Gaffney

Although it's hard to imagine them carrying 7 wr's.
I got a feeling Washington won't make the team, and it's six with Brown, and Caldwell, staying:rocker:

Who, after Last year thought the pats could ever be part of this Poll?

Colts... Harrison, Wayne, and now Gonzalez. Though the Cardinals and Bengals have an exceptional group, as well. I'll hold off on saying anything about the Patriots or Lions until we see these guys play together.

Bengals..

CJ, TJ, and Henry are a lethal trio (no pun intended)

Colts and Bengals.

Cardinals can be good.

Pats and Lions can be damn lethal. Especially the Lions with Mike Martz as the OC with Johnson, Williams, Stanton, and Furrey.

Indy easily, Harrison + Wayne now plus Gonzales , look for shades of the '04 season this year. Not to mention Dallas Clark (but he's a TE and that wasn't what was asked in te thread title)

In terms of raw talent from a WR corps and putting the QB aside, i'd rank them like this:

1. Bengals
2. Cardinals
3. Colts

I'll rank the Pats 4th once I see them produce. =) Great trade, though.

If healthy the pats and colts are even at the WR spot, but it all depends on the hammys of our WRs

Marvin >> Moss
Wayne >> Stallworth

Welker is probably better than their new #3, Gonzalez.

Colts WR's are better than ours. ditto for the Bengals, Cardinals, and Lions.

I think Gonzalez is going to have a huge year. I guarentee he will have more yards and catches than welker will.

and he plays in a much more passing oriented offense. more yards and catches doesn't mean he's a better player

Ours looks good on paper, but it looked that way last year. Let's see what they do in the regular season. Stallworth, Moss and Washington have the potential to be really good, really crap or somewhere in between. I like Caldwell, Welker and Gaffney as dependable types. I really, really hope Moss gets back to his old form. I think he may well do, but I don't want to bank on it.

Damn, I am SUCH a miserable bastid tonight. Sorry. :(

Ahahaha. Are you kidding our lineup looked terrible on paper last year. Washup Caldwell and Doug Gabriel respectively were competing for the #1 wideout slot, Chad Jackson was nursing an injury before the season even started, and we didn't pick up Gaffney until midseason.

There's no way this even compares to having Randy Moss, Donte Stallworth, and Welker as our starting 3 with the other receivers scrambling for roster spots.

This guy is a first round pick not only will he have more yards and catches than welker, but he'll also have more than Ted Ginn.

And you can quote me on that.:singing:

I'm with you on this one.Its a tie with the pats and colts right now.Our Offense will be explosive this year.

We'll truly know when we take on Indy next year.

good question..I took the pats just cause but in all honesty its prolly cincy but it will be fun to watch as we try to prove ours is the best.

Not even being a homer here....but the Pats are without a doubt are a run away #1 in regards to their receiving talent......hands down..!!!! Go PATS!!!
